Ok so TF1 had what ive done by linkin park. TF2 had new divide by linkin park. Has Mr Bay signed them up for Tf3? I think they did a great job but maybe time for a change. I would love to hear metallica do the theme song.Who do you guys think could crank out a kick ass sound track for TF3 if linkin park wernt to do it? Your sugestions can be as seriouse or as funny as ya want. but please dont stoop as low as lady ga ga please!

I reckon Bay might call back Linkin Park, since they've done the last two movies and have made very successful singles. If not then maybe some band that has the new, contemporary clear-cut rock sound similar LP. I'm thinking a possible replacement would be Pendulum. Or even Disturbed if they make a song TF-song that sounded as futuristic-like 'Inside the Fire'.

Metallica, eh, I don't hate Metallica but their metal style I believe is more suitable for less sci-fi action movies (examples like Mission Impossible 2 with 'I Disappear' and Zombieland's with 'For Whom the Bell Tolls').
And I'd doubt that Metallica would want to make a song for Transformers, would it even be something that the band members would like?

Disturbed would be cool. That did a great track for the first movie which was in the end credits and on the soundtrack (This Moment).

NO MORE SONGS THAT DON'T APPEAR IN THE FILM OR AREN'T RELEVANT TO TRANSFORMERS!!!

Seriously... that's the one thing that excrements me the most about the TF1 and ROTF soundtracks! I don't mind the new versions of the Transformers Theme even though they don't appear in the film (though I wish they would use them for the ending credits) - at least there's Transformers relevance there. And I don't care what songs they use for the film, as long as it appears in the film (and is thus relevant). What I can't stand are all those songs they just chuck in despite the fact that they don't feature in the film and don't sing about Transformers!! Copulate and go away!!!

*hff.hfff.hfffff* Okay, deep breaths...

Meh, I don't like Linkin Park, so I would welcome a change with the music. I'd suggest Slayer :D

But seriously, I can't see any bands I like doing the soundtrack, because they will most likely choose some mainstream, sounds the same as every other band, to so do the theme song. Which I dislike. I would like to be suprised and find something I like, but I doubt it. Not a big Disturbed fan, but I would prefer them over Linkin.

Thinking about it, Fear Factory could do it, their last album was called Mechanize wasn't it? :D That and they usually sound futuristic and mechanical, their drummer, Hoglan, drums like a machine :p

You guys heard the Black Lab remix of the original theme song? They should be given a chance, or perhaps even Dead By Sunrise (kind of LP) Paramore I think would be a fit, and will dream of Trent Reznor doing it :D

Well my suggestion isn't for the underlying theme music that tends to resonate throughout the movies like Linkin Park's efforts, but more so for a specific action sequence or scene.

I'd like to see Fear Factory or my personal Favourite Rammstein :D, they certainly worked well for Lost Highway (Rammstein) and xXx (Feuer Frei!).

I personally don't think you'll find a Band with a more Robotic sound than Fear Factory though. :D

Now there is a good one, he worked on Lost Highway as well, the dude would be a great choice. And he helped record sound effects and ambient audio in Quake (hence the NIN logo on the nail gun ammo boxes :p)

Rammstein, another great band they could get for it.

Yeah... the Black Lab remix ROCKS. I also like Stan Lee's new version of The Touch (I don't care if others don't, I think it's kewl :)). Also, maybe wholly NEW songs about Transformers instead of remixes of old G1 tunes... that'd be cool.

Stan Lee's doing music now? :p

As for Stan Bush, everytime I hear his new version of 'The Touch', I just think of an opening Bond Movie montage... I even told Stan that at BotCon on the weekend, and after a moment of him playing it through in his head, he agreed that it did (unintentionally) have a Bond Theme sound to it. He seemed quite impressed by that - maybe he saw a new potential direction for his music career... :p

I'd like to see Linkin Park back in it purely from a continuity point of view. Although I wasn't that much of a fan of the heavy/pushing guitar & drums throughout a lot of it - would have prefered the more subdued orchestral score that we had in the first movie with the occasional soft-rock song (eg: Go Go Dolls' Sam & Mikaela theme, etc).
