Yes, it was released in Australia however there are some that were extremely difficult to find, especially the ones towards the end of the series. These are in higher demand for most collectors ala Marvel comic issues 57 through to 80 (Simon Furman era).

Piranacon courtesy of llamatron and Tets
Movie Blackout and Scorponok courtesy of Demonac and Kyle
Transformers ROTF on the Wii courtesy of Target sale

Some thoughts, albeit some are years late:

Piranacon: purty......

Blackout: nice helicopter and robot mode but I don't like the face. Bit disconcerting that the whole rotor assembly can detach. It's almost like kibble.

Scorponok: great alt mode, poor robot mode (you just stand him on his tail!?!!?)

ROTF Wii: much better than the first movie game. The camera's not so sensitive, your guns can actually damage opponents, it's two-player... the only downside is you can't transform whenever you want, unless you're doing a special attack.

I think Movie Scorponok's robot mode was something they forced on an originally none transforming toy design.

Mine took about 7 working days, other orders from them I've had have taken about the same time, the bigger the order, the slightly longer it takes to get them all (had an order of nearly 20 books that arrived five per day for nearly a week.)

A quick explanation would be, by using a lightbox, two lights, black backdrop and a sheet of thin plastic sitting on a black surface (to get the reflection). Photos taken with a Canon DSLR and processed in Photoshop.

Don't use a flash ;)

You should be able to sufficiently light the toy using external bulbs (preferably through some kind of diffusion fabric sheet thing) to get a nice even light.

It's a repaint of Siren actually. Hard to say which is a repaint of which since both were released in 1988. The US got Siren, while Japan never got Siren but instead got Go-Shooter.

This here is the "repaint" of Nightbeat - Minerva (http://heroicdecepticon.blogspot.com/2010/07/c-303-my-goddess-minerva.html) (or as some would have it, Minelba), one of the very rare and hard to find G1 pieces.

Picked up a package at the post office this morning, and didn't know what it was.
When I got home, it had the exclusive Prowl and Dreadwing/Darkwing toys (http://www.robotkingdom.com/services/eshop/main.php?action=details&CatType=Category&II=TFTS2010WPBMS&lang=us&CatID=41)that I had forgotten that I had even ordered...

I love the look of the Dreadwing pair. The colour is so vibrant. And they have the Gen2 logo painted on them. A nice homage to Gen2 original toys - something that BotCon failed to do with none of their toys homaging Gen2 original toys.

It's a nice coincedence to have TWO Gen2 homages this year from two unrelated sources. For such an uninspiring and unpopular series, this was a surprise.

An unrelated surprise...
I found this on ebay while (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200500454266&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT)looking for something else. Threw in a small bid, without expecting to win it, but was the only bidder. :D
They all appear to be Takara Micromasters, but the four-packs appear to be ones that weren't redecoed though (will still check them over to see if they are worth keeping). The real prize to me was the storage trailers, and the Original Sixwing. I'm not fussed about missing their parts either, as I have 2 of the 3 reissues (all 4 were different colours), and these would be displayed individually anyway.
Can't wait for them to arrive.

Great catch, Griffin. One of the other notable Micromasters there is Shotbomber (the white one with the two missiles on its back) from Sky Garry. Very cool!

Since I got Skygarry already, Shotbomber will be sold off, along with any others I don't want. It might even make cover the cost of the ones I keep.

But looking in Generations book, the storage trailers are a necessary componant for the base modes of Micromasters, and Skygarry's shuttle mode. And now I have some, it makes Skygarry feel complete. :)

I may just do that Liege, Zarak is currently in the repair bay though whilst his arm is being permanently die-cast welded to his torso. :p

Um... I don't have the reissues but how did you rotate piranacon's head?

Much like Hun-grrr, Snap Trap's head does turn. :)

 So love to see Yoda on this board :D

I feel he's the best SWTF released in a long, long time. Probably my favorite since the Snowspeeder!

I wonder if it is something they did for the reissue, because my original Snaptrap has a fixed head, and the Club Seacons Snaptrap head would only move with a lot of force while the Piranacon head was attached (and still only moves 90degrees to its left. (I don't have the BW Seacons to check though)
Does anyone with an original Snaptrap, have a moving head, in case mine are just stiff from age?

Tell you what, I haven't checked if it could turn to the right... I'll let you know later.

EDIT: Later is already now and indeed, it only turns to the left with a lot of force. :)

My original G1 Snaptrap's head doesn't turn (either that or it's super-tight).

Got these on Sunday just gone, only bothered to post them now lol.

Abominus head and a chest shield for Defensor thanks to Hurtsicon, and WST Thrust was a re-acquisition considering I thought I lost him, but found him in a box at my parents place :D

mine too. anything from Canada takes a long long long time...

Guess I must have been lucky. I haven't had any problems with Canadian sellers, either in terms of delivery time or non-arrival. I've bought comics and toys from there with no hassles.
Of course, now I have jinxed it

Managing to squeeze in before the end of the month is a HUGE acquisition for me, plus some other figures acquired throughout the month of July.

Scorponok is truly a big and cool figure and though Zarak's arm had been unfortunately broken off (glued back on tonight :p) and missing some bits and pieces, He is in great condition and I love him all the same. :D

Very nice Scorpy specimen! Some reprolabels and he's ready to take on the Autobots!

Our basement is filling up fast liege... :D

love Defensor. I remember how I disliked him when I was young cos he's so weak and 'useless'. Now Defensor is one of my fav combiners. The proportions are just so.... right.

And he comes with 2 guns :D

What I like as well, is the fact that the head is already attached to the main body, you just have to swivel it around. Unlike most G1 combiners where you just use a helmet to mask their inferior and small heads :p

Same. I tried but didn't want to force it. Kinda funny that Abominus' head can turn either way, or at least mine can. Hence why the photo I took of him makes him look cooler :p
