Is this like the MP magnus that showed up at target?
$150? is that worth it?
I dont collect movie figs.. but its tempting.

It's 2 Leader figures (and the 2 that combine at that) for $150 - bearing in mind that Leaders usually go for $80-$90 at full retail price it's a bargain, though not a massive one - you'd save about the price of a normal Deluxe. Buster Prime's meant to be about as good as Movie Primes get, but like you I'm not much of a Movie collector so it may pay to get someone else's input.
Ultimately, whether it's worth it comes down to whether you want them - you may find them cheaper on sale later but AFAIK Buster Prime hasn't been released over here on its own (I could well be wrong on this one) and Jetfire is a bit of an older mold so you risk missing one or both of them at mass retail that way. If you just want Buster Prime you might as well have the flight mode option, if you just want Jetfire I'd pass on the set and look for one on its own. If you don't like one of them you can just sell it later on and recoup part of the extra cost.

Yeah Ode's pretty spot on with the advice. ROTF Buster Prime is the best movie Prime out there and it'd make an awesome addition to your collection. Shame though that hasbro didn't design the original ROTF Leader PRime like Buster Prime back in 2009... otherwise I would have had a kickass Movie OP!

That pack's on sale now at Kmart for $149. Compared to hasbro prime, it does have more detailed features as well as better paint job and chrome. There is also difference in the jetfire, more distinct colored paint, gloss and "dirt" marks.
For a takara version, that's quite a good price for a leader two pack.

When I saw it - it had Tomy Takara labelling on it.
Could these be Kmart direct importing?

Just grabbed the Prime from eBay... can't wait for it to arrive! I've been looking for a reasonably priced ROTF Prime and him (alone) was it!

I saw one of these packs at a Pawnbroker the other day. He had it for $400.00 MISB. At that price i don't think he is too much of a hurry to get rid of it.

Looking on ebay, the ROTF 2-pack (red box version made in 2009 which we got here in 2010 (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Jetfire_%28ROTF%29#JetfireBuster)) looks to be harder to sell, as dealers are asking more than the DOTM (black box) re-release from 2011... which that one is selling for US$280-300.
The sole ROTF 2-pack that I could find that had sold, went for US$350... but since no others are selling at their higher BIN or minimum-bid amounts, it is hard to say what the current value is on the red box 2-pack. (because no one is lowering their price enough to find out how much people really are wanting to pay for it)
At the least, you'd probably get US$280 (the black box ebay price), so is a good profit margin on the $99 it was clearanced at here... but the value probably plateaued soon after the black box re-release came out (both were exclusive to Hasbro Asia, so have some completist value to western markets, but since they sent some of the red box to Australia, it is really just America and Europe that would pay that much now).

Yeah, I remember this set shelf warming here at Kmart too. Shelf warmed for a loooong time. As very nice as the changes are on Optimus Prime (not so much a fan of the redeco of Jetfire), I personally couldn't justify buying ROTF Leader Class Optimus Prime and Jetfire again -- although I did get DotM Jetwing Optimus Prime (which is a further retool of Buster OP) when it was on sale at Big W. That's another big shelfwarmer too. Phwoar. :o

I remember having to pay about the price in Australia of the two pack just to get Jetfire in the UK, and having to pay through the nose to get Buster Prime from a specialist dealer.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Australia might get screwed compared to the US, but it's like TF heaven compared to the UK.

I scored one of these in Melbourne March 2011, hunted through all the Kmarts trying to find one. Think it was via a tip of from someone here that I finally managed to get one.
Had to unbox it to get it home however.

For a while I thought this a the new Jetfire toy bundle with prime :D
the best and cheapest shelf warmer I got is the Ultimate Predaking from Target @ around $29, when the movie came out the price went up back to either $99 or $69
