Mad Hot Rods

I have always had a memory of a collectible card/sticker collection I had in my early youth. I always thought it was Rat Fink or Odds Rods.
I have been doing some researching on it and I believe it was Mad Hot Rods by Allens & Regina.

Does anyone remember these? They were only released in Australia and New Zealand. I don't know when but I am sure my memory of them was around 82/83.

I can not find much information about these at all. Ring any bells for anyone? Is there somewhere I can go to get more information?

Yeah, I remember them. The back of my bedroom door was covered in them back around '83. :)

I think you bought them in groups of 3 or so with a stick of chewing gum.

That is more than I found on Google. I vaguely remember a hovercraft type vehicle but I am not quite sure

I would love to see the rest of the collection, they actually still look pretty cool. I wonder if a card collector shop would be able to help me?
