IDW Bumblebee series (may contain spoilers)

So, has anyone read this series?

I got it when it came out as a graphic novel last week.

I actually found the story fairly decent, and didn't mind reading about the human characters and their interactions with the Autobots.

Wasn't a fan of the art style, but I suppose that's okay.

I found it boring and mostly ugly.

As it reminded me too much of myself I couldn't get into it really.

I liked the art and it reminded me of the early G1 art from both comics and the tie-in books.

Naturally it will contain spoilers for anyone who hasn't read it yet. :) I'm also a fan of the art - not just because of the choice of G1 models, but also because of the Frank Miller-esque flavour in the inking. :) The painted colours are nicely done, though a part of me kinda wished this series was left in black and white. Ah well. :p
