Hmmm... from memory, the only member of this board who has an AFA graded toy is SOUNDBLASTER - Reissue Hot Rodimus.
I have a MOSC G1 Scrapper in an AFA case. Does that count :p

That's right I remember you had the sliding bottom case - my jet case has ramjet and my car case prowl. I had a couple more but they got passed on a while ago now....

Wow! Zippo those are nice! especially the Diaclones.
But why do you have two Jazz-es? You should donate one to a poor student... like me :D get more space in your collection, right?

If I dont get them already AFA'ed, then im not going to bother.
I think I could be a little to anal about it and demand all 80s or 85s for everything

I love the Joustra Diaclones, Zippo - it's my favourite type of Transformers packaging ever.
In terms of AFA in general, I disapprove of making toys even more inaccessible than leaving them in boxes, and think that anyone who pays any more for them on eBay than the usual MISB rates + grading + postage is utterly loony. That said, due to odd happenstance, I have this one:

Ooo great thread. Although I love the excitement of receiving and opening newly arrived (loose) G1's, the feeling of sifting through layers of foam peanuts and holding a super mint AFA graded encased vintage figure is incomparable :D
If you don't own an AFA stamped figure yet, I highly recommend having at least one in your collection. Maybe even an AFA of your all time fav character?

Eew, no way! I share Sky Shadow's sentiment about AFA toys:
In terms of AFA in general, I disapprove of making toys even more inaccessible than leaving them in boxes, and think that anyone who pays any more for them on eBay than the usual MISB rates + grading + postage is utterly loony.
If I coincidentally came across an AFA figure, unless it's a multiple I'd probably crack it open.
Maybe even an AFA of your all time fav character?
Only if it were a multiple... but I wouldn't pay for it. The money I'd spend on getting an AFA toy I'd rather spend on getting other toys to open up and play with. :)
But hey... if I had a loose Time Warrior, and someone gave me an AFA Time Warrior; sure, under those conditions I'd keep the AFA one sealed. :D Any volunteers? :p

I have AFA Graded Bludgeon (G1), a few AFA G1 Insecticons, and
I was considering getting AFA grading (loose) on a few of my better G1 toys
sans boxes. They actually display pretty darn awesome.

The Insecticlones were limited e-Hobby online exclusives and never released in stores.
