Similar to Starscream:

A really clever tribute to a fighter jet built into a car transformer. Unfortunately though, it's the weakest Alternity mold yet. It lacks the automorph of its predecessors. The doors are too heavy and very difficult to transform without popping off. The thigh ratcheting joints are way too stiff and uncomfortable to rotate. The car mode, as always with Alternity, is perfect though.

Specific to Starscream, the head mold really sucks; It sort of has double eyes. The paintjob and choice of colors is excellent though.

Skywarp does not have the same crappy head mold as Starscream. Skywarp's is quite excellent. The purple paintjob is beautiful too. If you're only going to get one of this mold (between this and Starscream; TC'd not released yet), get this one.

... I've already rambled about it on the Alternity Starscream review topic. :p

Well I read this advice and got Skywarp over Starscream. Thankyou!
Skywarp's paint app is a striking 'Witch Purple' as Takara decribe it. Beautifull.
In bot mode he looks menacing and he reminds of...erm....a witch!

The articulation is great and the joints on the arms are nice and loose. The legs are really stiff so a steady hand is advised.
The kibbley bits during transformation are a little annoying, I kept popping the doors off. The doors are on socket joints so don't worry if it happens to you.

Overall a great toy. Get it.
