MISB TF Generations Darkmount (Straxus) has already appeared on eBay from China/HK sellers.

Does anyone know if Australia will be getting these before the US again, as in the scenario with the first wave of TF Generations?

More than happy to pay $30AUD for Darkmount, but will refrain if they're due to come in soon enough...

IMO, I'd wait. We may be lucky again and get them before the US again, but patience is a virtue :p

Generations toys sold well here, so stores should be restocking soon, and hopefully Hasbro AUS has already imported the second wave.
(A lot of the new stuff is in monthly waves, and Hasbro AUS doesn't usually get monthly shipments of TFs - which is why we missed waves last year with TF2 toys, as they were monthly waves too)

Lol I don't care when the next wave comes out, as long as it does come out and stays on the shelves for at least a month so that I can afford them! :D

start saving up now dude, then when they come out you can just go spend-crazy. That's what I did with ROTF and I gotta say it's a good feeling to be able to grab all the toys you want on sight without worrying about how you're going to feed yourself for the rest of the month. :)

Well patience is a virtue and laybuy is your friend. Works for me well:D. Just wish Darkmount was Voyager sized, ah well another sizing issue - looks at Deluxe Galvatron dissapointingly

Considering the $50 price tag of Voyagers these days, I'm happy to settle for a smaller size that's half the price, besides when was Straxus ever huge?

Again it depends on the individual if you just wanna go for the overprice figure then go for it i have this saying "if its itchy scratch it!" :D but dont want to hear from anyone complaining that they regret their actions and should have waited when it came out. "so when you scratch it and it bleed ,dont go crying"...lol

gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme!!!

The GeeWun fanboy in me wishes his alt mode was a flying space cannon, but once I remove my fanboy goggles I realise that the tank mode is definitely better.

If you were a Geewun fanboy you would be going 'Who?' :p

As a Marvel comic fan, I can't wait!

While "Straxus" looks great...Am I the only one who thinks
the War For Cybertron Megatron mold would have suited him better?

I thought of it too but it only works for the alt mode. The robot mode wouldn't have been as good.

If only Hasbro included a head in a fish bowl accessory for Straxus.

Still maybe a third part will make it.

For the alt mode... as a G1 fanboy, yes... objectively speaking, no.

Friends in the US confirm Darkmount isn't out in the US yet so I'm crossing my fingers he will be out here before there. :)

Man it looks sweet. David Willis/It's Walky pratically jizzes on it at Shortpacked. Not that excited but I do appreciate some new mould Decepticons.

This toy is brilliant. It even has a third artillery mode that looks like Straxus's 'G1' space tank altmode. And it's going to be remoulded into Skullgrin. Things don't get much better than this.

You have one?

I'm hopefull but the proof is in the plastic.

As for a Skullgrin remould? I assume he will have a new head sculpt, not some cheap ass repaint.

It's hard to tell from the instructions whether or not it's the same head, but it looks like there might be a slightly different (but not super-exciting) head for Skullgrin:

That head looks a bit weird. It doesn't look very Skullgrin like but that could just be the art.

In the old Marvel comics he actually towered over Blaster :)

For the alt mode... as a G1 fanboy, yes... objectively speaking, no.

I don't mind this Earth-mode incarnation for Straxus - still fresh considering that he's never been to Earth.

WFC Megatron appears to have been inspired by TF Animated Cybertronian Megatron (in the first episode), which does look vaguely like the original Straxus design from Marvel. From the same Marvel perspective, I don't think that's a bad thing; considering that they're both Decepticon overlords, why wouldn't it be logical for Straxus to have a variation-design on Megatron's original Cybertronian alt-mode? The character also makes some clear links to Marvel/G1 Galvatron :)

But was of equal height to Dirge, although so was Megatron. Personaly I think Blaster just grew latter in the comic.

but Blaster's toy was ridiculously tall, wasn't it?
