Hey guys, I wasn't sure what to put this in so why not make a thread? I'm much better at coming up with customs than making them, so I figured I'd put this up and ask - how hard would it be to make this figure happen?

It's the PCC Huffer headmould (actually from the Crankcase stock image) and Nemesis Prime to make Motormaster! Or perhaps a non-combiner Menasor.

It looks really nice. That mold seems to take in odd colors (Yomtov/G2) really nicely, arguably better than the original colors.

As much as I hate to say it, you should remove the rubsign and replace it with a faction sticker. That would finish it off nicely.

I have a digibash request. Can some please recolour Generations Darkmount with a Universe Ironhide (or Sideswipe/Red Alert head minus the 'antennas') head into G1 Sludge? I suck at it and I have an idea for a custom.

EDIT: Try the head from 'Solar Storm Grappel'. It screams Sludge.

I'm halfway through making this a reality. I've removed the wings and am working on bulking up the legs by combining legs from two Blasters. Each leg has a thick and a thin half. I'm pulling the legs apart to make two legs comprising two thick halves.

To me the head is a match for the cartoon version of Blaster.. although I guess I could add visors if I felt up to it.

I have no idea about the practicality of attaching the head, or what sort of alt mode it will have. It could well be an Action Master.

I've seen a few "BotCon Overlord should be Silverbolt" comments around but couldn't see anyone mock it up. So I did a quick and nasty colouring job in photoshop and I can see it would kind of work. Might not even need a headswap. The flaps for the wheels and the wings do make good subsitutes for his power/godmaster ports.

I think, if there was ever an Animated: Overlord head sculpt done, this might be ok... I don't think any of the Animated figures would really work as a Classicsverse figures though myself :o; an Overlord in the Animated aesthetic serving as that universe's Overlord could definitely work though. :cool:

We all know that G2 had a lot of awful repaints of G1 toys. But it's widely accepted that G2 Sideswipe was one of the few repaints who actually didn't look terrible, and what's more, his colours were basically his G1 colours in reverse.
