It's that time of year again folks! :)
Remember that in order to voluntarily participate in this survey, you must count your toys according to the Universal Counting Method (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=217). By participating in this poll you hereby agree this condition.
So simply count your toys according to the Universal Counting Method, then round off that count to the nearest hundred and vote accordingly.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
There are also two parallel polls, one for people who own less than 100 Transformers and another for those who own over 1000 Transformers.
If you have voted for "100 or less" please proceed to this poll (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=8723) and vote to the nearest 10.
If you have voted for "1000 or more" please proceed to this poll (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=8724) and vote to the nearest 500.
So get counting! :D
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Note:
+ As with every year, participation in these surveys is voluntary.
+ Please do NOT debate the merits of the Universal Counting Method in this thread. That's what the Universal Counting Method thread (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=217) is for.
Thank you.

There's a link in his posting to it.
(and for everyone - agree with the UCM or not, these new poll topics are not for debate on the merits or components of it... the polls are for only for comparison purposes to previous year's statistics)

My collecting habits have slowed down considerably this year. Too many other expenses combined with the fact that I have pretty much everything I want. I'm in my happy place right now so I can't complain too much :)

Sigh I already stopped counting when it went past 1200:o. too troublesome :(... Id prolly should have kept a numbers list (per series) just so I don't have to recount all over again, siiighh. Ill get to the other poll once Im done recounting :o

After all that I'll go first forever proving that only the poor know how much money they have.
According to the universal counting method I have 382 transformers.
I don't think I'll ever have enough.

Just out of curiosity, I initially voted that I had 300 figures (before I counted them properly), I've since counted my figures, using the Universal Counting Method, and I've officially got 358 figures and I was just wondering if this number is supposed to be rounded up or not? - if not, then it's not a problem but if it is supposed to be rounded up then my vote is void and will need to be changed I guess.
What does everyone think?

I vote round up. Cause then it sounds like I have more and that makes me happy.

I think I have about 90 Transformers now, mostly from the ROTF line, some from the 2007 Movie line and the occasional bargains - like Animated Soundwave, Megatron and Cybertron Prime and Crumplezone...

Sigh, too much to worry about :(
I have never counted my collection, and I just don't have the time to do it. And after seeing Liege's collection, I know he will have a fun time of it :p

Yeah, you're meant to count your toys first then vote. 358 toys would indeed round up to 400.
I don't think the poll results can be changed so I guess I'll have to manually adjust the results when I collate them at the end - which won't be for a while yet, so take your time folks. I usually let the polls sit around for about a month or so before I collect the results. :)

Yeah, lol, I thought I'd just estimate - voted - then thought "Maybe I should count them first?..." :p
I do apologise for mucking up your figures Goki, I'm interested to see what sort of data you can pull from the results at the end of the month. :)
