Apparently, just like Leader Starscream, the Battle Ops Bumblebee will be released in Japan under the Masterpiece line.

Revealed at a recent Jp Event (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys--products-30/takaratomy-movie-masterpiece-bumblebee-revealed-170488/).

Awesome... another Bumblebee

So, how many does that make now?

I think the more important question is whether battle ops BB is any better than that supreme class bee from the first film

Cos, well, let's be blunt, unless you're 8, that Bumblebee kinda sucked.
Is Battle Ops Bumblebee any good?

RK have it listed with some more blurry pics.

I thought the HA Bumbles was about as good as the movie toys would get so it's the only one I have (I think) but if this one actually has working headlights and light up eyes then my HA BB may well be replaced.

E Hobby Japan has listed it for sale. 11,424 yen. Wow, about $120 odd bucks. That's pricey.

E Hobby linky link. Lots of pics (http://www.e-hobby.co.jp/cgi-bin/omc?tno=1283966341YWMUG&req=PRODUCT&code=mpm_02)
Anybody know if Hasbro plan for this he looks pretty nice!

An update from tfw2005 - looks like there are going to be 2 versions being released by TakaraTomy, which are both different to the Hasbro version... giving the completists, 3 versions to collect. (not me though :p )

There will be three versions globally of this figure.
The Japan release will be painted in (matte) yellow to match the movie character.
The Hong Kong release will be painted in a metallic yellow.
The North America release will be unpainted, but the outer parts are molded in yellow.
