Welcome to my written review of Sleep Convoy.

Figure:
Well to kick things of, the figure is a very nice mold, it come exact like MP-04 however the paint scheme is a faded tone of color. What used to be the red portion of the toy is now in a faded out grey with a hint of maroon. The Legs are quite smilier, they come in a grey dark navy blue. The ares where the original toy had grey is now a plain off white. The toy comes with long smoke stacks!!! and is metallic silver with black battle damage areas on it same goes for the grill!!! The left section of the upper torso near the waste has battle damage resembling the stab wound from the epic one on one with Megatron. The Matrix slot glows green too. The control pannel has Ultra Magnus on the right and on the left is Hot Rod.

Weapons and Accessories:
Optimus comes with his Iconic Ion Blaster as usual but this time it's a lighter shade I believe. The Energy Axe is very faded and is white and grey! The Megatron rifle that is included with Optimus is now a translucent purple, this is to resemble the transformation from Megatron to Galvatron.

Trailer:
The trailer is all Translucent (clear) plastic besides the tires, the tires are sturdy and are made of rubber but don't have shocks or suspension. The trailer is somewhat flimsy SO BE CAREFUL! overall is very nice looking.

Final Verdict:
Get him if you can afford him! His rare and limited to roughly 5000 pieces in total. HK/Asian 2010, Japan 2010 and Autocon ......? So he can be a some what investment if so desired.

Enjoy the pictures!!!

I see dead people... :p

Nice pics and details. I like the look of the trailer. The robot mode looks creepy though... in those 'dead' colours.

Oh it's faded grey maroon in person.

The promo pics made it look much more like a Nemesis Prime ish repaint.

Yeah, it's like greyscale, but with just a hint of the original colours (red and blue) left in it.

"It's custom faded?" ;)

Kinda, it's like MP-4/1 but the tone has been shifted to a really dark tone, resulting almost a black but not quite!

Recently received this figure. Didn't really want two black MP Primes, but wanted the transparent trailer, so eventually caved.
The 'dead' colouring of the red and blue is really eerie, almost creepy when you cast your mind back to that scene from the movie and how it made kids feel at the time. I think if this sort of toy was released during the 1986 movie, there would have been a lot of kids crying in the toy stores, and this would have been a major shelf-warmer.

Official pic to go with the real ones above...
