Ode to a Grasshopper

"After eating too much rainbow ice-cream, Devastator(TM) feels horribly ill and vomits up the contents of his stomach, consisting of his valiant-yet-tasty foes and unfortunate allies both. Their paint-work stained beyond repair, these once-proud warriors must wage a battle to the death with both each other and their own fashion sense.
Also available: Dessert Ruins Brawl (with Jolt)."

That pretty much sums up these sets in a nutshell.

$29.95 is a great price for 2 deluxes, but...my god those are some terrible colour choices. I saw them in person today, and Barricade and Bumblebee in particular literally look like cheap knock offs.

The Sideways vs Twins set is a good pick-up though.

They really have this KO paint jobs look to them.

I only got the ice-cream truck & sidways 2-pack as those didn't have much variance from their actual colours.

I'd buy the sideways/ twins pack as I think they are more movie accurate. But wouldn't bother with the rest.

I see it as an Apeface homage.

And I like it.
