As I mentioned in the "Upcoming movies" thread, the designs look freakin' awful.

I'm trying to find out if the concept art is actually legit before getting too pissy about it.

In the original it was just the Lion head\fist, a power move.


I wouldn't worry too much about what Voltron looks like. It's stated that the pics are only to help illustrate what he could look like if the movie sells and is made. We can expect the final result to look different.

I've not heard of this until now and I must say that I don't mind those designs, mind you I'd prefer my Lion Force Voltron with a little bit more F@#$%! Balls to the overall aesthetic, especially the width of the shoulders and the eyes of the lions.

At the moment the design is leaning a little too much towards the Disney side of things IMO which will only help put me off side, but it's only concept art so I'll reserve further opinion until a later date when more is revealed.

Seems like it is gathering some steam now, would be cool to see it come to fruition, if they do a good job of it.

Well, it's good to hear that something may be happening but I'm not going to hold my breath, I really hope that they don't 'Power Ranger-ise' the film. :o
