Russian Bay-verse Transformers Inspired Movie

Wasn't sure where to post this,

Whilst perusing Geekologie.com (http://www.geekologie.com/), I came across this:

I must say, though a lot of people will dislike this video as it's based on the Bay-verse aesthetic, I am really impressed with the quality and effort of this video and the fact that the Russian fans are giving it ago.

A lot of time and patience has clearly gone into this and I think that anyone who is capable of this sort of creativity should at least get some praise for that alone.

Transformers, really is a World Brand isn't it? :cool:

I saw this video a week or so ago at the Don Murphy board. I pretty much gave praise at the awesome CGI work but I can't say that the shirtless guys nor the Bay bug robot designs work too well.

Indeed, I was thinking more along the lines of CGi work, Camera Operation etc.
I agree, could've done with a shirt or two but pretty well done none the less.

What I pretty much said. A lot of people were impressed by the CGI but disliked the Bayness.

That's pretty damn awesome all things considered.

Say what you will about Bay inspired aesthetics, I've still yet to see G1 designs that work that well in live action.

Could do with less shirtlessness, however clearly Vladmir Putin (http://gawker.com/5330778/putin-shirtless-again) is to blame for that.

So essentially as best I can understand it the movie was about Russians re enacting pokemon but with phones and no shirts, and then the guy that lost got all butthurt and sicced his car on the winner?
