Wow! He looks pretty awesome!
Still dont know what to think of perceptor though.
Also new pics of Tracks from TFW.

Looks infinitely better than the pics we've seen- however seems somewhat mistransformed still.

Much better than I expected. I didn't think it'd be a new toy. Keep the new Generations coming Hasbro!

Well I was not expecting him to be a bike, but it looks to me like he will be and he looks good.
Now what about the car in the picture, any idea on who it is? Perceptor? (judging by the fact that his arms seem to be under the front that are blue and red)
Edit: I just read the info and it is Perceptor :p

but i prefer the g1 junky look
I never thought G1 Wreck Gar ever looked particularly "junky"... and the Marvel/Sunbow model was like Wreck Gar with spikes - still not terribly junky looking to me. Generations Wreck Gar looks more junky with the mismatched asymmetry (as opposed to matching symmetry - good one Goki )
Looks too evil for my liking.
Damn facial hair. :p
Tracks looks potentially good - hopefully we can see pics of this toy transformed properly. They're bringing the rub sign back which will make some fans happy

Yes it will cause a number of nerdgasms :p
Good indication that Hasbro have listened to the fans I reckon.

Very cool homage to Wreck-Gar. Perceptor should be a microscope. There's already enough cars and trucks in the Autobot ranks.

I like it. Very kibbly, but that suits him being a Junkion. I'll probably buy this. I would have thought they'd have added wheel-spikes to go with the moustache.

Wreckgar looks pretty good, very close to the TFTM version. I like Tracks, he looks a lot better than his earlier photos. Other than the flames on the bonnet. Seriously, how hard would it have been for them to match it up with the G1 version?

Is wreckgar going to be a Tfcollectors club exclusive or is it planned for a general release in the generations line?
I think he looks AWESOME.
a) he's a bike
b) the asymmetry makes him looks HEAPS like he's made from junk
c) the face is a perfect rendition of him
d) the axe is bad-ass
He is now my most anticipated generations figure!
I'm not particularly sold on perceptor. I don't get why he's now some sort of snowmobile???
I like tracks but the robot mode looks abnormally kibbly. It almost seems like the designers are trying to do too much. Universe Prowl was perfect. Excellent prportions, realistic car mode, nice blocky robot mode with good articulation. I don't see why they could'nt have stuck to that script for tracks.
I'm really looking forward to the upcoming generations. Scourge, wreckgar, jazz and tracks are must buys for me

I'd say Wreckgar is a mass release. They are just showcasing a figure on the cover much like they did with WFC BB.
A picture, let alone an announcement, of Wreckgar was a big suprise for everyone, because we did not know about him previously. A pretty well kept secret I must say. Usually we find out names, and then months down the track we see first pictures.

New generations figures are awesome, Wreckgar and Perceptor look alright from their smaller images, and the image of Tracks robot mode have me salivating!

While all these generations figs are must buys, my question is will wreck gar be released under the united line?
Did japan ever have transformers the movie released? -since scramble city.
Also if not, did they have wreck gar as a character in their version of the cartoon?

Yes, Wreck-Gar was a character in Japan. They're releasing Straxus, they're not going to not-release Wreck-Gar.

I like my Wreckgar to look a bit evil, he is neither Autobot or Decepticon afterall.
Reminds me of the evil glint in his eye in Transformers the movie too. :)

Wreckgar looks awesome, a little lean IMO, but awesome.
Being that a Motorcycle is something that the designers have always had trouble with over the years, until recently, I like how they've managed to achieve an asymmetrical look with his legs. :D
Tracks looks friggin' sweet!
I agree that the door panels look misplaced but his silhouette still screams Tracks even though his wings aren't present in the pic, but if I remember correctly, Griffin reported in his Botcon write-up that he does indeed have wings so I guess we'll just have to wait for some official pics.
Perceptor I'd like to see bot-mode pics of.
It's really no surprise that he has moved away from his original alt-mode, given the fan reaction to Scalpel and after all this is obviously a more fan leaning line, but Perceptor was originally a triple changer of sorts being able to turn into a kinda tank, hence the tracks, so it looks like they've taken that and turned him into a Half-Track All-Terrain Science lab IMO. :p:D
And what is also very, very cool is it seems we will see the return of Rub Symbols!!! :D:D:D

As David Willis points out (http://www.shortpacked.com/2010/blog/wouldnt-you-like-to-be-a-pepper-too/), the pegs in the crotch match the holes on the seat so it looks like he can ride himself.

I think that is almost certain since Hasbro has mentioned that they now make the molds with repaints in mind so they make two heads for each mold.

Wreck-Gar looks phenominal! I wonder if the lower wheel comes off to be used as a shield...I can see a peg on his left arm but that's on the inside which wouldn't be right. Hmm, maybe it can be clipped on the other arm. Looking bloody brilliant though, much better than the Animated offering which I thought was pretty average.

Yeah a repaint of Wreckgar with a new head as a Junkion would undoubtedly sell pretty well, even Hasbro should know that.

Oh yeah, I agree. Wreck-Gar looks cool but the head hmmm doesn't do it for me. I wish it was less human looking and more robot looking, like in the cartoon/movie. A cheesy face on a robot always seems to put me off:eek:.

Yeah the stance that TFW guy has taken is silly. Hasbro has every right to make that toy, it's their character. If it prevents FansProjects from releasing their Collector figure or cuts into sales numbers then they should have taken the possibility of a Hasbro release into account.
However I am sure that both toys will have considerably different styles to them so if Collector gets released, it may still sell to those who like the more robotic sculpt style better than the more 'organic' Hasbro one.
I am personally not sure if I will go for Collector, possibly not as it all depends on price. I like third party manufactures because they offer something that Hasbro does not, that's not the case here even if Collector was announced years ago.
