Listed at Entertainment Earth some months ago, TFW2005 have just acquired a pic (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/crossovers-12/first-images-of-star-wars-transformers-crossovers-venator-class-star-destroyerclone-pilot-figure-170618/) of the new mould for the 3rd wave of the new black-pack Star Wars Crossover Transformers.

Ent Earth lists (http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo.asp?number=HS94741C)it as (Lieutenant) Thire/Republic Attack Cruiser, and looks to be released with a redeco of the Fighter tank (only one wave after the first one), around October.

The Clone Trooper transformation kind of reminds me of an Egyptian Hieroglyph in the sense that it seems blocky and squashed/two-dimensional.

yeah that transformation looks really terrible.

it makes it hard to want to collect this line and the marvel crossovers.

Probably why they made the deathstar. Giant space missiles look dumb.

It'd better be remoulded into a Classic Imperial Star Destroyer... or at least proves that they can do one.

yeah I'm pretty much over SWTFs now. Especially since they don't come with pilots anymore and are more expensive. :(

Not before they unleash straight up repaints; this is a Republic Venator Star Destroyer, it wouldn't surprise me if they repaint (unpaint?) it as the Imperial Venator Star Destroyer (http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20081116110404/starwars/images/8/87/Imperial_Venator.jpg) or perhaps some totally random repaint.

If they did make an Imperial II Star Destroyer (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Imperial_II-class_Star_Destroyer), which character should the robot mode be based on? Should they finally give us an Imperial Stormtrooper or would you prefer someone else? (e.g. Imperial Naval Officer?) I wouldn't mind seeing a Darth Vader/Executor (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Executor) (which could be retooled/repainted as other Super Star Destroyers (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Super_Star_Destroyer)/characters)
