Hey guys, I'm after some non-Tf figs (NECA Cult Classics/Hall of Fame, AVP:R, and probably others) can anyone recommend some good online toystores that aren't BBTS or Robotkingdom? Also out of interest what else do you collect, if at all?

I collect whatever interests me. The only TF lines I collect completely are Masterpiece and Alternators (some Binaltech still). I have a few Classics and others as well. A few Valkyries from Macross and Cyclones from Robotech/Mospeada. A handfullo of figures from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Patlabor, Arnoured Core, Star Wars etc... whatever interests me.

For Transformers and Macross I usually use:

www.hlj.com
www.fantofan.jp shipping is more expensive than HLJ but he often has exclusives that HLJ can't get and will only offer these to regular customers.

Otherwise I use and recommend:

www.figuresdirect.com.au local
www.angolz.com
www.xl-shop.com

For 1/6 figures there's

http://www.oziegoods.com who are local but I've never tried them.

I tend to avoid:

www.bibyco.com.au messed-up orders
www.casefresh.com.au messed-up orders
www.collectoybles.com.au overpriced last time I looked, couldn't get their page to load
www.transfiguretoys.com overpriced

Thanks for me too. I'm going to check out some of these stores too as I try to track down some Marvel toys.

I used Casefresh and Collectoybles once each, given that I was ok with the particular items at the particular prices. Both times went smoothly. :)

I can't speak highly enough of them. I've bought TF's from them quite a few times in the past & I'll definitely shop with them again. Hong (the boss) is a great bloke, their communication is excellent (they even have a phone number that they actually answer) & I even bought my MISB Alt Dead End from them through a hush-hush backroom deal (He wasn't even advertised on their site).

Also out of interest what else do you collect, if at all?

- Little bit of retro in Voltron, He Man and Machine Men
- Smurfs
- Lego modern and vintage Castle, Classic Space and Star Wars, City.
- DC, Marvel, Spawn and other comic related figures and vehicles
- Female anime figs (preferably unclothed....sorry)
- Female warrior figures
- Star Wars miniatures and select 3 3/4 figures and vehicles
- Star Wars Force FX Lightsabres
- Graphic Novels
- 1:24 and 1:18 scale model cars

Some miscellaneous stuff I can't think of at the moment...

Eldest daughter has a growing (60-70+) and nice selection of MISB Barbies. Many Pink Label and some Silver Label. One Platinum Label.

He used to have a stall at Perth Nexus Fair (every three months), but we didn't see him at the July fair and all the ones after. Seems his business is no longer operating.

Just checked his website. It's still the same as a few months ago and hasn't been updated with any new items. :(
