Battle Ops Bumblebee lights

I bought Battle Ops Bumblebee today at big w for $59 today and after playing with him for a while i noticed the lights on his shoulder are still on and i cant seem to get them to turn off.

I've circled them

is there an off switch i missed?

I've done that and transform it to and fro multiple times.

UPDATE: Returned. Assuming the cause is just faulty electronics.

Did you push his visor all the way down until he says "shield down"? I thought mine were broken too until I pushed his visor down a little further and it locked into place and the cannon lights worked.
