Not a good image (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-generations-classics-30-35/transformers-legends-wave-1-image-170660/), and better official pics will surface soon enough, but this is a nice looking tease, of more Gen1 themed toys that should be out by Christmas.

I'm interested in Starscream and Megatron (for the reason that he can be held by Masterpiece figures, always a bonus)

They look great and I will be getting them all as well... that is, if we ever see them here. Aside from a few specialty shops, we pretty much missed out on the wave that included Cosmos, Rodimus, Warpath, and Wheelie :(

That's just where Diamond Comics ships products to, not Hasbro. Regardless at least one comic shop in this country orders Transformers via Diamond.

Megatron is kinda cool, shame they didn't use the scope instead of the barrel tho. I'll try to get him due to his compatability with the Masterpiece line.

The rest are uninspiring to me, I'd prefer the WST line instead.

Legendscream looks nice, Megs is win, might grab Goldbee though I'm still sort of leaning towards repainting a RotF Hubcap for Odieverse Goldbug.

Yeah, WST Prowl is 10 x better than legends Prowl IMO. I don't like the fact that they used the same mold as legends Jazz... they should be two completely different transformations.

Awesome! I wonder how Ben managed to obtain these pics.

prolly sent to him for some pre emptive promotion of sorts to get the fandom excited to generate a bit more sales for the stuff.... by whom - prolly some Hasbro secret service:p ( though they would deny the existence of such when caught) kinda like a mission impossible group of employees. Shadow employees.:D - this is all speculation and not to be taken seriously in any manner hehehehe

Amazingly, they were able to give this prime a flush facia, unlike the Masterpiece :p

These will be fun for cityformer displays.

Starscream looks like he could use more paint apps though. His bot mode looks a bit plain, especially on his face.

If these are promo pics obtained through Hasbro, you'd think that they would at least make sure Optimus was looking at the camera :p

Excellent point. Would go with metroplex very well. Then add in universe devastator..... (the little one).

Starscream is definitly a keep in robot mode. Trailbreaker, looks like they took an suv and mashed a canopy utility on the rear. Optimus and megatron are the shiners here.
