I'm not overly impressed with Tracks's flight mode. To me it looks like the doors are just mistransformed. I do like the fact they made the effort though. I'll still get him

Wreck Gar and TT Lugnut are better than I could possibly have imagined. Also glad to see WG's wheel does infact double as a shield like his G1 toy. :)

I am hoping that they are using Hasbro pictures as preliminaries just as they used Universe for the preliminary Henkei announcements.

Otherwise there isn't much difference on most figures between the Hasbro and Takara-Tomy versions. I don't like Track's falme decal on his hood and there is too much 'Hasbro grey' overall.

It is safe to say that Lugnut belongs to 'Classics' just as much as Drift, Hot Shot, Dinobot or Cheetor. In regards to his 'movie' looks, the character is supposed to stand out among the crowd. Despite his Animated styling in that line, he still stood out due to his very robotic design in the same way that Shockwave stands out among the G1 Decepticons or Whirl stands out among the G1 Autobots.

I said this before in another thread, but the more I see of Tracks the less I like him. WTF is with his flying car mode - they butchered it :mad: It looks like an after-thought or someone jokingly mistransformed him and said "look, it's his flying car mode" and they just went with it.

Just a moment, I found the pics randomly and I have not seen them since. Let me back track a bit until I find it. However don't hold your breath, it's certainly better but not great and still looks mis-transformed but with more hope that it can be corrected.

That's actually a fairly persuasive argument, that Lugnut should go with Classics figures as he's supposed to stand out - I'm now happy to purchase him, cheers dude. :D

But you've got to admit that it's better than just a repaint or a 'default' type face, IMO it's miles better than that Botcon exclusive head anyway. ;)

Jazz looks even better than in the previous pics, the enlarged close up pics just make it look so much better than before. There was even a stage from the first crap pics shown where I was questioning whether I was "trying" to like it. The current pics of the generations Jazz paint scheme looks quite decent already, cant even wait to see how much more united improves upon it. I need it in my hands NOW!!

I'm content with Tracks' mould, even with the iffy flight mode. However, the hasbro version looks so cheap with the white on those clip on shoulder launchers and the little wings and this is my biggest complaint.

I hope the united paint scheme resolves this issue- as the Henkei versions did for the universe mould- i.e. Universe Prowl's shoulder launchers looking like cheap plastic grey compared to the superior chromed v.

If the united line moves away from chrome for such parts, at least I hope they will do a metallic finish akin to their versions of WFC figs- i.e. United WFC soundwave compared to generations v.

The same can also be said for wreckgar in that pic.

I don't mind it - it's obviously to discourage anyone from illegitimately trying to sell this toy. And it's not as if it's written on an area that's obscure some kind of detail -- those parts would otherwise just be plain white.

You can Photoshop it out if it bugs you that much. :)

I really like that Lugnut toy. I was expecting the plane mode to be kibblely but it actually looks aerodynamic and the wings have very clever and innovative engineering for the arms. The fact that they also contain a gimmick is also very impressive.

To me the jet mode looks really bland with that very clear grey. That's the main deterrent for me in this version.

Yeah I don't mind this Thunderwing, if the Grey is similar to the grey used on WFC Megs then I can deal with it, It all looks pretty Thunderwingy to me. And he's not tainted by rubsticker insignia's either so I'll probably make do with this version.

As for Angry Jazz, they pushed him too far. Either that or he's IDW Jazz during AHM. IDW influence seems to be creeping into quite a few of these toys.
