Triple Z radio in Brisbane play 1986 Lion TF theme!

I was in the car last night here in Brisbane and flicking through the radio stations and to my ears disbelief heard the 1986 Transformers theme performed by Lion!!! I double checked to see that I hadn't turned the CD player on and sure enough they played in on a radio station up here called Triple Z 102.1FM. It was about 6:30pm. I kept listening afterwards but no mention of it but there were talking about video games so it might of been some sort of segment they do on there. Anyway thought it was freakin awesome to hear it on the radio and just wanted to share.

I thought it was weird yesterday when Big W started to play Black Sabbath's Paranoid in store? :confused:, but this is equally as Kick-ass! :D

I remember a few years ago back when I was still living in Sydney Triple M had a dare us to play it weekend where you rang up and dared them to play a song. They played crap like Achy Breaky Heart, I rang up and dared them to play "The Touch" but they didn't do it:(

Heh, cool. Gotta tune that in tomorrow. I usually have it just on 104.5, but they're only really good at night.

I don't use cd's anymore, I use a usb stick that plugs into my head unit. Yep, got the 1986 movie sound track as mp3 on it. :)

I just checked out their website and they have acutally played it quite a few times if you look at their playlists and stuff. REALLY COOL!!!

Wow! Hearing that on the radio knowing possibly a lot of other people are listening as well would have been a great feeling. Great excuse to do some air guitar as well lol. Although I don't know how you'd do that driving.

It sounds trivial but yeah it was such a buzz, couldn't believe my ears! Something about hearing it on radio made it ten times cooler. Must feel awesome if you have your own band and finally hear something on the radio!
