I've never really followed MOTU post 1980's... so, Keldor is actually Skeletor after an accident playing with some acid huh? I don't recall this being explained in the HB cartoons. Keldor is kinda like Drift then :p :D

BTW, awesome collection Kup!

Keldor is actually from the 80s. He was part of a story in post filmation comics depicting the origins of Skeletor. The 2003 cartoon expanded upon the same basic concept.

Here, watch this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YMEZXDKhwQ) so you understand the reference that I am making.

Keldor is nothing like Drift. Keldor is the origin of Skeletor so they are one and the same not some randomly made up and forced upon 'Poochie the dog' character ;) :p

BTW, awesome collection Kup!

Thanks! :)

You wont have to worry much about the snake men for the 200x series figures kup, there's only Kobra Khan and "the General" = Rattlor (as he was called in the 80's), Tongue Lashor, Squeeze and all the rest of the snake men that "had" a figure in the original series only have Statues in the 200x series:( - sadly..... wouldv'e been awesome if they had official moving figures.

King Randor there is a statue is he? If you still want to get the snakemen statues - they had them before at the Parramatta Phantom zone ( went on sale a few months ago) but am not sure if they still do.

Yeah, the Stactions is what makes them difficult as it drives the shipping up due to weight and have high risk of damage if not in their original packaging.

I will try to get General Rattlor and Cobra Khan but they are pricey compared to other figures. I am also after an Evil-Lyn and Sorceress so she can go with the castle.

Evil-Lyn has a figure, the sorceress is only issued as a statue in the 200x series so good luck with her.

Count Marzo is freaking awesome! He is among my favorites of the MOTUC characters so far.

http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/Marzo.JPG

His sculpt is much more detailed than the average MOTUC figure too and as a big fan of MOTU 200X I appreciate that he is detailed enough to look the part despite the line's style bulk and height. He even has wrinkly old man hands from the Talisman!

Awesome, awesome stuff there Kup - I didn't realise how many characters got the 200X treatment but your photos and story telling are quite good dude, I like the subtlety of swapping out different swords for when they're being imbued and such - well done!

Oh and by the way, I'm 14 eps into He-Man (2002) and I've gotta say dude I'm lovin' it a billion times more than the original series and I'm trying to fight back the urge to collect the 200X figures. :p:D
(Transformers costs enough as it is! :D)

Thank you! :)

The only missing figure to complete 200x to my satisfaction is now Sy-klone!

He should be much easier to find than Kobra Khan.

I am also after Evil-Lyn but the staction would have to suffice for now as the 200x figure is very expensive.

Here are my newest addition...

King Hsss

In my canon, this is what a 'younger' King Hisss looked like during the Grayskull era before he was defeated and vanished from Eternia by King Grayskull and He-Ro.

http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/collection2011/KingHsss2.JPG

http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/collection2011/KingHsss1.JPG

At first, I was a little disappointed by King Hsss when I opened him as I encountered several articulation flaws such as restricted thigh movement and shoulder obstruction caused by his infamous reversed shoulders. Thankfully I was able to correct the reversed shoulders and this allowed the figure to be much more playable and aesthetically pleasing which considerably improved my opinion of the figure. I now like him very much and looks very elegant in standing poses despite the restricted leg movement.

Congrats on Hsss Kup! :D
I also like the idea behind your cannon for him as it makes quite a bit of sense and looking at the face sculpt, he does come across as somewhat younger than what one might expect. ;)

I opened Teela today and added her to my MOTUC collection:

http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/collection2011/update2.JPG

http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/collection2011/hostage.JPG

http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/collection2011/pov.JPG

Since Teela comes with an extra 'vintage toy' head which can be displayed with the Cobra armor or as an Amazon type warrior helmet; I decided to experiment with the extra bodies I had from that Chinese seller I bought faulty toys from.

G2 MOTU - with Evil-Lyn's body

http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/collection2011/G2chick.JPG

As you can see, it's pretty garish hence the 'G2' reference.

However I also decided to use more of the spare armor and weapons I had:

Amazon Chick

http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/collection2011/amazon.JPG

Not bad but she looks a little bland and looks like a completely made up fan character.

However with the right parts I was also able to make....

No break The Goddess

http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/collection2011/goddess.JPG

Not bad and I can count on this one not breaking apart despite the body being very loose with several defects (since it's from the dodgy seller) but thankfully the Cobra armor covers most of them but she cannot stand stably without the grayskull stand.

Here she is displayed in my collection:

http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/collection2011/update1.JPG

I like her better than the green Goddess release and in my canon, she represents Grayskull's wife, the Sorceress during that era. She wields the sword of protection since it is her who forged it and imbued a portion of her's and Grayskull's power within by using a piece of the orb.

I also added Adora to my collection:

http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/collection2011/update3.JPG

http://kupscigar.com/MOTU/collection2011/update4.JPG

The Great Rebellion now has 2 people in it :p

She-Ra doesn't count as her and Adora are the same

Thanks Hursti!

I came up with the hostage situation when I realized I was running out of room in the display shelf and I would be forced to mix bad guys and good guys together.

It'll be nice if they did though, along with broom.:D:D:D then The great Rebellion will have more than 2 people. Id also like to see someday they make more of the Horde trooper...
