Looks like there will be a new Japanese book covering this toys released there this year.

The cover image is interesting modern toy version of the movie cast. Is that United Kup?

The book's website (http://www.millionpub.sakura.ne.jp/tfg2010/index.html) doesn't have a lot of information, but HLJ (http://www.hlj.com/product/TYT02130?nav=rss) does have a preorder.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the fourth volume of the JP Generations book is being labelled as 'Volume 4', instead being called 'Generations 2010' (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/million-publishing-transformers-generations-2010-book-cover-details-and-release-date-170856/).

Aside from that though, it is good to see that this reference series is contining, covering the 2010 Transformers toys released in Japan (probably not any US ones not released in Japan).

Due for release November 19th for 2100yen (about AU$26), it should also give some info on next years toys and the TF3 movie.

Technically it still doesn't have any interest, Paulbot - just you posting that nobody was interested and now me pointing out that "Technically it still doesn't have any interest, Paulbot - just you posting that nobody was interested and now me pointing out that "Technically it still doesn't have any interest, Paulbot - just you posting that nobody was interested and now me pointing out that "Technically it still doesn't have any interest, Paulbot - just you posting that nobody was interested and now me pointing out that "Technically it still doesn't have any interest, Paulbot - just you posting that nobody was interested and now me pointing out that "Technically it still doesn't have any interest, Paulbot - just you posting that nobody was interested and now me pointing out that "Technically it still doesn't have any interest, Paulbot - just you posting that nobody was interested and now me pointing out that...

I am Paul! Always a fan of these sort of graphic novels - I have Vol.1-3 already so this is a must! Still missing the Animated Almanac Vol.2 - thats such a pain to get! Book Depository has been out for a long while. :(

The Almanacs are being reprinted later this year.

I've got this book on order, not waiting to see if there's an exclusive to go with it.

Sorry, I skimmed down half the News page, and didn't see anything. I should have looked further.
I've merged the topics now.

Are these books in Japanese? (I can really only read Katakana and even then I'm rusty. God help me if they use Kanji.) If there are english Versions I'm tempted. And does this one come with a bonus repaint figure?

There's rumours :)

They are in Japanese and there are no English versions.

The toys usually have their English name shown alongside the Japanese text, but mostly you would only buy these for the pictures.

No word yet about a bonus repaint figure, but they don't come with the books. The books have a coupon you have to redeem for the figure (and you usually have to live in Japan).

Sometimes with amusing mispellings... like Chainclaw as "Chaincrow" (because in Japanese Katakana "claw" and "crow" are both 'spelt' the same) ;) :D

Seibertron reports that the book will allow you to get the Skids and Screech toys (repaints of Skids and Crosscut as the Movie Twins) that were also available with Generations 2009 Vol 3.

(I'm also trying to sell the pair that I got last year if anyone is interested)

I'm looking forward to this as I was stoked with the first two books. I thinkthe third was mainly moofie toys which I have less interest in- ah well I still love this format of books. And united has me super stoked too; which is perfect!! :D

Keen for the book. Lame toy though. Guess they couldn't get rid of the first batch.
