"This is the most highly-rated, critical success of any game that's had the Hasbro brand yet and we're looking forward to a sequel in 2012," Blecher stated.

I can't wait, I enjoyed WFC, hopefully WFC2 will be as good maybe better.

"Additionally, the Transformers MMO, in development by NetDragon, is planned for launch in the West but no specific territories were mentioned."

Excellent news but I really hope they try to be more innovative with the gameplay and level structure.

I agree with kup.

There were some brilliant moments (Level 3 and 4 of the Decepticon campaign - taking Iacon and the Omega Chase) were brilliant but the rest was a bit bland.

I still think Melbourne House' Armada game was better, gameplay design wise.

I am surprised to be the first to post "does this mean we'll get more WFC toys?"

We should certainly get more characters from the first game :)

The only thing I dont like about the WFC figures is the Scale Prime and Megatron NEED to be bigger then the others :(

Very exciting although quite expected news.

Hopefully when the game is released, we will see a Shockwave toy. His WFT incarnation is just so damn sexy  We will definitely see a Starscream toy as Hasbro went on the record by saying that he would be the next priority for them.

I want a WfC Slipstream toy.:)

And Shockwave.

I demand Warpath as a toy. He looks awesome and wouldn't mind either Brawl or Breakdown, especially Breakdown cos he has the best personality. :)

Just finishing up the final stage of the game... battling Trypticon. Overall, I enjoyed the game. There were parts that were frustrating (saving Omega... never thought Ratchet could actually die) but overall, enjoyed it...

Though I do agree that Melbourne House's TF Armada game made Armada good...

i am also on the warpath bandwagon..... that would be an awesome toy... ratchet too (wouldnt be hard to retool soundwave as they appear similar)

i want more WFC toys in general...

Dang, I missed it. Any idea where it was being shown?

This time I hope they improve the colours. The opening cgi scene was bright and vivid but the in game colour was so dull it was almost monochrome. :)

I seem to be in the minority but I thought that the color palette of the overall game was fine and diverse but could that be because I was playing the PC version?

The problem with the game for me was the very generic gameplay which was overall fun with nothing really broken but not much different to 'arcade' style action shooters from years ago.

For me they have gotten much right to get my attention such as the feel of the game story, characters and world but as far as level design and overall gameplay mechanics go, it is pretty much a 'Been there done that' sort of game.

I agree Kup, it must just be the PC version. ;):D
I'm loving the game, sure it took me a while to get used to the controls, I play Doom/Quake games almost exclusively :p:D, and yeah the game sort of is a 'been there/done that' type - but all in all WFC is a great game that plays well and is the best Transformers game bar none.

My only major gripe with the game is that the PC Version is a fairly lazy console port, mind you that is not the fault of Highmoon Studios but rather parent company Activision, which has a clear and unquestionable Console fetish. :(
On a PC game, there is a bare minimum of Graphics and Control customisation options that every game MUST have! - Unfortunately these are completely non-existent on WFC (PC).
(And if I get forced to use Auto-Aim again in the next game...:mad::mad:)

I have to agree... I love the colours and visuals in the PC version though it feels there is very little difference in animation for the high quality compared to medium still, looks awesome overall...

I haven't played much 3rd person shooters since Return to Castle Wolfenstine (sp?) but I must say, there isn't anything special about WfC gameplay-wise though the vehicle combat is refreshing.

Auto-Aim...? How can one do without it?

Auto-Aim...? How can one do without it?

Play enough Multiplayer Quake 1, 2 & 3 and you can - I'm no Fatal1ty but I've been fragged by him enough in Q2CTF to learn a couple of things. :p
(Admittedly I'm a bit rusty nowadays :o)

Auto-Aim in WFC has been the cause of so many "F@#$s!" being bellowed that I swear people think I'm having a Domestic with myself. :p

Ahh sorry I should have mentioned I was playing ps3 version. Any other console users notice a lack of colour depth on ps3?

Thank Primus for Highmoon Studios. This along with Catherine, The Last Guardian & Deadly Premonition are the only things keeping me interested in the gaming industry these days...Don't even get me started on all this motion & 3D crap they're trying (failing?) to get us excited about these days
