I love this little ongoing story (Right in The Lugnuts??? ;):p) you've got going on here dude and I'm pretty damn envious of both Lugimus and Thunderwing, but majorly envious of that Botcon Classicsverse Exclusive Weirdwolf! :eek::cool:

On a side note, Predaking's sword seems a little small huh? are you thinking of getting the CrazyDevy replacement sword at all?

It is a bit like a toothpick, but I'm more a fan of the individual Predacons than Predaking anyway, so I'll probably have the five of them separated out most of the time (when they're not called to act as Predaking in 'Right In The Lugnuts', of course. :p)

Thunderwing is brilliant - the robot mode is perfect and the grey isn't the usual Hasbro grey - everything is just right.

Lugimus's plane mode is sublime - the sort of thing that makes me want to fly him around the room making 'whoosh' and 'ratatat' noises. Plus, there has never been a Transformer with arms for wings as ingenious as this one - it's an absolute A+ vehicle mode. Colour-wise, I think I'll prefer the United version - the Japanese purple and green are silly enough that I can afford to not take the toy seriously. The Reveal The Shield one is so earnestly militaristic-looking that he's going to be hard to make fun of. And I like the logo-shaped rubsign - clipping the grey square sides was a nice touch.

And BotCon Weirdwolf is fun - he's a schizophrenic ventriloquist who calls his right hand 'Wolfie'. Which is even more amusing considering the mould's key-activated action feature is basically to make the wolf head talk. :)

I thought Id do it using legends but since most of the legends figures are just smaller versions of already big toys, it's not entirely new characters then. It would be a good thing though if Hasbro would make original characters in purely Legends size - kinda like micromasters of G1.... ah well we have scouts now, and I guess for smaller ones they can just do minicons:D

If I could find one I'll buy it but he would not be in a patrol;) but more of a soloist operator in liegeverse.

Ive already set the second team of urban patrol consisting of (pardon me for not remembering some of their names - Im useless with names except for G1:o) - Scouts - Hubcap, Nightbeat - blue recolor of Deadend mold- still havent found one( chances are slim since he's an old old toy now, sigh), Rollbar and lastly Knockout. I have 3 of the four, if I dont find Nightbeat I might replace him instead with whatever fits. An autobot recolor of the breakdown scout mold (they recoloured him into Oilpan , also a Decepticon:o)

Im also in the works for my decepticon scout side - Urban counter measures are Brimstone (though the mold lends as skeletal ninja agents/subordinates to Skeleton Samurai Bludgeon, just look at those shuriken looking front wheel weapons), Deadend, Breakdown . I was gonna add reverb to the group but it's one too many bikes in a group for my liking...I might use Oilpan instead. Im actually hoping that it's an all car patrol group for the decepticons.

however Im also working on a decepticon (purely) bikie group ( removing Brimstone from the Urban countermeasures team) since they do get recoloured more often now hehehe- if I could find em since I prefer not to hunt these figs down and just get em when I do encounter em. Tihis would prolly consist of Reverb, Brimstone's repaint and whatever recoulor character there will be or other bike molds if there's gonna be some more....

I do actually have a loose Megs however he's in my display case standing opposite Prime. If I put him in the box, it will screw up the aesthetics of my display case and I can't afford another Megs to replace him.

The case was bought from AFA's eBay store and cost approx. $50. Shipping was about the same. Their obviously custom made to fit and they come in the following styles - '84 Autobot cars, '84 Decepticon jets, '84 Prime, and '84 Megatron. They also have cases for combiners e.g. Constructicons, however these are a very poor fit and the cards will slide around inside.

**Word of warning** - if you (or anyone) are thinking of buying one, its best that the flap of the box is as straight as possible. If it isn't, it's near impossible to make it fit as there is an internal 'holder' which the flap has to sit under and you wouldn't be able to stick your hand in there to maneuver it into position.

I bought it purely because of the mold history! Didn't like the general look of the robot at first - the head is more PowerRangers than TFs, and combine that with the fact that he doesn't have any weapons, it places him into a fist-fighting monk category. However, the transformation's ingenuity and detail won me over :)
Don't really have space to spare right now, but will open it in due time :) Right now he's just stacked on top of a general TFs corner... .. . .

Btw, awesome Alternity Silver Convoy! Looks awesome in its box!

I'm very, very glad that I waited before deciding on which 3rd party Arcee to get as I believe that I've made the right decision. ;):cool:
After seeing Deceptic Optic's Arcee, I knew immediately which one I wanted and after seeing Jaydisc post that he had a couple for sale I launched at it! :D

I'm hugely satisfied with her as she is an awesome figure! and I highly recommend obtaining her. :)
Though she is expensive for a Deluxe class figure - She is worth every cent as her hand built construction shows the loving attention to quality that is very rare to come by and besides, HasTakTom are clearly not going to release a G1 version of Arcee any time soon. ;)

I know, I've noticed that they're only taking orders now - apparently the one bloke who is building these beauties is only able to produce about 50 per month, understandably, whereas for November he received at least 100 orders so I think there maybe a back log for some time. :(

He can , but be careful not to snap the thumb on TW when trying. You wont be able to do the double hand grip pose like - opening the matrix pose - else you'd snap TW's hands,at best one hand but slipping it in carefully, as the gap is quite narrow and the plastic ain't pliable.

Besides I don't think Prime likes the idea of a decepticon grabbing his matrix :p.

They are tempting! Its actually very difficult to get a large lot of cards as if they were trading cards. In many Japanses MIB TFs, the bio cards are one of the usual things that will be missing.

If you take a closer look, you will see that there are bio-cards for Dai Atlas, Road Fire and Sonic Bomber too. Since starting from Victory, Takara no long put bio-cards in the paperworks bag but printed them on box flaps (one side of card per flap), it means that someone cut up their Dai Atlas, Road Fire and Sonic Bomber boxes, just to make those 3 cards.

I'm quite over the moon. Will go 'raid' this shop again during lunch (its just 5 mins from my office. heh). :D

Maybe find some time to scan them all in one go. I made the mistake of getting a set of unused stickers for Calcar (replacing my old broken one), and I went ahead and applied all the stickers only afterwards realising that reprolabels didn't have a set of repro Calcar stickers... GRAGH! :( So yeah, if anyone else comes across unused G1 stickers - don't make my mistake... if it's a set that reprolabels doesn't have, then please consider donating scans of them to reprolabels :)

Well, somebody's cleared out my local K-mart of Good 8 dollar scouts. BUT my local Toyworld had Reveal the Shield Legends Class Optimus Prime (Turns out He's an Autobot! Wow!) Megatron (He's a Decepticon!) and Starscream (He's a Deceptico- Oh, this joke was old the First time..)

I'm waiting for RotF Deluxe Class Jolt in the mail (should be here any day now) and I also grabbed TF:RotF Autobots, TF:RotF Decepticons and TF:WfC Autobots for DS while I was at TTP the other day~!! :D

Thanks man, NO not yet, I was thinking of getting V. Leo and Metalhawk (the one kelvinchang99 had for sale) but my budget wouldn't allow it:p but it got bought by someone here as well so it's gone to a good home just the same....there will be other good opportunities:D

So before Double D throws a fit, :D:D piccies as promised - Nightfall in off on holidays atm. Gollum's just unreliable so there's no mascot lately :p:p

the charger of farts- i really like the look of him and feel of this mold. Hope they do the rest of the minibots as well in scout size, they can now issue out a recolour with a slight head remold - Tailgate!

I saw an unopened box of Legends at Morley TRU on Wednesday and have been busting a gut to get back there...

Stopped in on the way to work today and picked up Megs, Op, Goldbug, black-head Starscream and unpainted head Starscream.

I got two Starscreams so I could repaint one and so I would go over TRU's price limit to get a $5 voucher, which will make their price for a deluxe more palatable.

Just received my Masterpiece Starscream Movie series (MPM-01) by Takara.

Awesome piece of toy! The details are amazing compared to the hasbro version! I highly recommend it!

RTS Legends Megatron, Starscream, Goldbug, Prime from TRU. Did not scan but all for $6.95 I think each :D Actually found someone who can help me in store (First time in years)
