At that price I'll have to pick up the aerialbots pack. A pity I already brought the rest of the pcc released.

They do that? O_o
If so, I shall follow suit and do the same.

But the person at the counter can make it a pain. It has to be the same item and it's in stock in the other store for them to match it if you follow the price match policy to the letter.

no, TRU just need the catalog to pricematch, though i do agree the cashier can be a pain. They have never called up other stores to ask about stock status when i was there - its just a waste of time.

kmart also pricematch catalogs the same way. they will even pricematch receipts for item not in the catalog. i had them do that for the battle ops bumblebee for $58 when it was on sale at big w.

If the item you want isn't the same picture on the catalogue, sometimes they do call. I had that happen twice coz they wanted to actually verify that the same item is in stock.

I actually took a pic from the store since I didn't have the catalogue and I also showed the sale price on lasoo.com.au from other stores on my phone (internet).

well then im thankful the cashiers i get served by know how to read and dont just rely on one little picture. really, if they cant read 'legends, scout, deluxe, voyager and leader size' then they need to go back to school.

oh, i always make sure to have a copy of the catalog since thats all they need. it makes it easier for them to double check with their supervisor if need be. just showing the catalog to them from your phone is iffy - which is probably why they had to call it in.

How is this a waste of time? if you want a price match the store advertising the item should at least have what you want matched in stock. if the store is going to do a price match their well within their rights to call the store in question to verify they have the item.

it's a waste of the customer's time. the thing is you want it price matched because you don't want to search other store locations that have it in stock.

Ohh its a waste of the customers time? so i guess if retail stores were run to yours and kaiden's liking we'd just take customers word for it and whatever snippet they bring in. Businesses have policies that customers need to adhere to, in this case if the stores policy states they may call the store to verify their stock then thats their decision. If you don't like the stores policy perhaps you should shop elsewhere. The amount of times ive had customers cry over us having to call another store because their too f***ing lazy to go to the original store in the first place is astounding.

We have this same debate every time price-matching is mentioned...
Please let it go people.

I'm hoping to pickup Brimstone for $10 as I don't think that toy's get a new head repaint anytime soon.

I might be convinced to buy Leadfoot for that price too.
