Hey I'm wondering, I just bought family guy season nine on dvd and realized that it doesn't even have any episodes form season nine. Take a look at the chart. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Family_Guy_episodes
The episodes that are on season nine are all season 7 and 8 episodes. What's the go????

Looks like that S9 of Family Guy you bought was fake.
The actual season hasn't even finished airing yet on TV! (thus it wouldn't be on DVD yet)
Bad luck man! Did you get it from eBay or something?

"You'd have to be freakin' crazy to miss out on the superb ninth season of Family Guy! Loaded with laughs, these 13 hilarious episodes continue the outrageous adventures of Peter, Lois, Chris, Brian and Baby Stewie. Victory is yours!"
Thats what the JB site says. Dude, leave a review for them and everyone else

The Australian and US season boxsets are totally different to each other - if you do a check for the US boxsets, you'll find the episode listings are different. Because we are behind (TV wise) to the US, the makeup of the seasons is adjusted based on their TV broadcast dates on Aust. TV.

That sucks! Also another thing that sucks is that the back of the box doesn't even show the episodes list, so I didn't even know what was on here, I just assumed I got all the latest and greatest stuff. grrr.....

Spot on the money. As with pretty much all tv shows, we have different listings to what the US has. If I remember correctly, the FG episode called 'When You Wish Upon A Weinstein' was in a different season in the US compared to us. Not the only example, but the only one I can think of atm.

fyi, the season boxsets are actually half a season, so yes it'll progressively more out of sync with the more sets they release claiming to be full seasons. Also family guy sucks.

It's funny and rapes simpson's. Family guy steals things from everything but makes it kinda gay but it's funny and I love it. :)

Family Guy = Awesome
Simpsons = Classic
Family Guy have done nothing that The Simpsons hasn't done, that The Flintstones hasn't done... South Park did an entire episode about this.
Oh yeah,
South Park = Best :D

I don't mind Family Guy (I used to love it), but I started noticing they were ripping off Monty Python with many of their "unique" random jokes!

The randomness of Family Guy was a winner for me when it first started. But now its just starting to get old.
Still love the peter griffin vs chicken fights though :D

lol, I like the one where he says to Meg that he never treated her right. It then showed clips of him picking his nose and whipping it on her beanie then the next clips shows peter pulling out a gun and shooting her lol!!!!! Got to see it in person to get a really laugh outta that one.

Ha! - I love that scene, as well as:
Peter Griffin: "Meg, who the hell let you back in?". :p:D

I always get a laugh out of the two He-Man gags I've seen on the show ...
One was where Stewie, after being pumped with steroids and bulks up, grabs a barbell by one end, raises it and yells "I have the power!!!"
The other was where Prince Adam steps into a scene, says hello to a horse rounder, then jumps on a donkey, unsheaths and raises his sword and yells "I have the power!!!" (They even got He-Man's original VA, John Erwin, to do the dialogue!)
I also quite liked the Star Wars parody "Blue Harvest", though the TESB and ROTJ parodies were quite unfunny and disappointing.

Yeah Blue Harvest was good but the others fell flat, they weren't even ok a single episode of regular Family Guy is much better.
