Like last year, here is your chance to detail some resolutions for yourself for 2011... be they ones of determination, or just some ideas thrown out there to maybe, hopefully achieve one day this year.
It might also encourage others here to do something more proactive with themselves, or just try something similar to a resolution posted here... just because it feels more achievable when it is verbalised by others.
And then at the end of the year, we can come back to this topic and see how each of us did.

Do as little as possible.
What's that, I've got two contact hours a week at uni? Is this possibly a resolution I will follow through?

This year:
Watch the DVDs I've purchased but not watched.
Open TFs I purchased but not played with.
Read the books I've purchased but not read.
Sell the DVDs, books and TFs I don't really need.

I didn't bother making any NY resolutions this year cause if history repeats itself (which it tends to do), I'm not going to keep them anyway :o Ah well, it doesn't matter... the worlds supposed to end next year anyway :p

I don't need it to be a New Year to make personal resolutions. These are things I would have wanted to do, New Year or not...
In no particular order.
1) Purge those people (good or bad) ((sorry to the good people)) who remind me of things I no longer wish to be reminded of. Clear slate from here on in.
2) Regular Chiro.
3) Get back into Muay Thai/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/MMA/Taekwando.
4) Learn Spanish.
5) University course acceptance or it's "Bye Bye Australia!" (for a year. or two)

Okay, still haven't changed my sig pic yet :p
But surprisingly another private NY resolution I've made which so far I've managed to stick to is to actually do a session of dedicated exercise each day. Last year I made the decision to do exercise "regularly"... but of course, 'regularly' isn't a definite amount of time, although I usually did manage to do some exercise at least once a week. But this year I wanna do some at least once a day.
So far I've managed:
Jan 1: 30 min exercise bike
2nd: 2 different lots of 30 min session on the exercise bike
3rd: 30 min exercise bike
4th: 30 min exercise bike
5th: 50 min exercise bike, 1 hour bicycle
6th: 25 min exercise bike
7th: 1 hour swimming pool, 30 min exercise bike
8th: 35 sit-ups, 15 push ups (on gym ball)
3) Get back into Muay Thai/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/MMA/Taekwando.

So who achieved their resolutions?
I hit my financial targets but decided to put off heading over seas until next year. I decided to move houses instead.
As for my collecting goals I missed out on completing rid by two figures. I only needed 26 figures at the start of the year to finish them off but I kept putting off buying them and getting other toys. I ended up buying over 300 this year (stopped updating my sig months ago just to busy) but put off the rid figures because I wasn't happy with the price, one deal fell through and the others I wasn't happy with the condition.

Well, I lost weight, just not the good way. Got my guitar, started playing and learning. Can't remember what else I set lol.
As for this years is to finally record some new material, already started on that with coming up with a new song, music and lyrics for a 2 part song. Buy a new car, pay off debts, enjoy myself rather than be stressed all the time. Finish writing my story and creating my concept album for it, get it made into a comic book too. Start going to gym, start loving life more than I have previously.

I met all my resolutions and exceeded them :D Not only did I quit smoking last April, but I also started exercising (bought some runners with the money I saved from not smoking) and lost weight.
2011 really did suck but thinking about what I achieved on a personal level, there are some definite silver linings.
