I went to the Australia wildlife park a couple of weekends ago the Lego displays are pretty cool and impressive, they sold out of the exclusive free mini figure tho, and the Lego shop they have set up there doesn't have anything new really

Would of been good to see a couple of purchasable mini sets like a koala or shark.

I will post some pics up later tonight

Looking forward to it, I love the Aquarium (especially now with the Dugong exhibit, Dugongs are awesome (also the name of my Broomball team), and I really wanted to visit the Lego exhibition. Just have to wait till the school holidays are over, we went last year when the Spongebob exhibit was on, and the place was crammed full to capacity.:D

I know! :p

Wildlife world is pretty below average, especially compared to the aquarium, personally I think both the Zoo and Featherdale are leaps and bounds above it.

Big Real Croc

althought the wildlife park is average, the croc is impressive but mostly i went for the lego displays and they were something amazing. it was a nice easy relaxing day tho i wish i could build like that, the detail is incredible especially the faces which seem to mimc the actual minifigs they do produce these days. i was a little disapointed they didnt have any exclusive adventur guy minifigures left tho

hope you enjoy the pics.

They didn't say how long the exhibition was on for on the website, so am guessing it's only on until the end of the school holidays (in a few days time).

I wonder who does these sorts of things... Lego Australia perhaps?

i believe it runs for 12 months a year long event, so plenty of time to catch it

I remember hearing that it is on for 4 months (roughly until about Easter) at it's present location.

Which is great as it means you don't have to visit in the school holidays, a mate of mine walked past the aquarium last night at about 8pm and he said the line was still out the door to get in!

You can also build a public LEGO mural with others outside the Aquarium and its free. Be quick, it will end on 23rd January.
