Target 20% off Transformers 27/01 - 2/02

The Target catalogue this week advertises that there will be 20% off Transformers, from Thursday 27th January to Wednesday 2nd February.

this is interesting i wonder if they will restock before the sale because the targets around here are very very very bare and have not restocked since october...

think there was around 4 actual transformers on the shelf at the local plus a bunch of speedstars....

Shellharbour was/is the exact same, maybe 5 items on as many shelves - mind you Star Wars is basically every, as far as the eye can see! :eek::rolleyes:
So either Star Wars is really popular in the Shellharbour area or they just aren't moving any stock at all because it's been that way for close to a year now. :confused:

My local target is pretty bare as well but they do have a couple of figures that I've been holding of buying until a sale so I can pick them up cheap tomorrow.

Any hopes of Maroochydore restocking for the sale have been quashed. A couple of deluxes and voyagers, and a few RPMs, were all they had. Still bare from Christmas.

Same in St Mary's, though I did get Skullgrin and Thunderwing there not long ago. But still, the shelves are bare. Seems that they don't even restock the shelves often. Everytime I go there, the shelves look the same.

I grabbed the couple of deluxes I wanted plus a legends devastator.

I've held of buying legends dev hoping that it would go on clearance but $39.20 is pretty good.

My Target hardly even has a TF section at the moment. Maybe about 5 figures. What's the point of a sale if you don't have the items in stock to sell? :rolleyes:

The Target at EastGardens have less then 10 TF toys....

But found ROTF Brawn at BigW. They have lot of BB, Skids, Ravage, etc, @ $12

It's certainly a tease... offering a discount on stock they don't really have. It'd be like offering a freebie, but not having any to give away.

It's just a pity that Targets are a chain that restock on a national level, so most stores will have virtually no stock before the warehouse sends out allocated stock to every store. Maybe they're already cutting back before the TF3 toys are released in a few months time.

Banzaitron at Target Blacktown, along with a couple of Long Hauls, plus some deluxes, skids, ratchet.

But mostly just a giant empty hole and the hot wheels rip offs.
