Custom: Turbomaster Boss

The camera is really flattering for the windshield paint. In person there are streaks in it. It's probably because I used "spray and mark" paint, which the can says is great for marking concrete, but it was the closest colour to the original Boss to my eyes.

Made from a Blurr, obviously. I had thought of doing something different to the legs, but I decided to save it for my Nightbeat custom (which will be done in a couple of months :rolleyes:)

The head was from the Megatron vs Optimus Ultimate Battle two-pack.

Hardest part was explaining its name to the kids. "He's called Boss". "Is that because he's the boss?" "No" "Why is he called Boss then?" "Uhhhh....."

Looks awesome snakey, can't wait till you splash some boss blue on him. His current colour scheme could even pass for Hurricane :D

Any reason why the car mode colours look like Hurricane? The robot mode itself does look Boss-like (cept for the Hurricane-coloured kibble)

While Boss' function is Force Leader, Thunder Clash's function is Commander In Chief, which outranks him (even though both their ranks are 10... best not to bring that up :p)

As a Force Leader Boss is like the leader of a team - so he's like a Captain (http://www.animebay.net/images/wallpapers/NAvnTrans_1280-512666.jpeg). Whereas Commander In Chief (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commander-in-chief) commands the entire military. For example, the Commander In Chief of the United States military forces is this dude (http://www.examiner.com/images/blog/wysiwyg/image/obamasalute%281%29.jpg), and according to the Australian Constitution, our Commander In Chief is, no not her (http://celebrities.ninemsn.com.au/img/blog/blog240610_julia.jpg)... her! Blurr almost makes for a straight up Boss, great colour matching for the windows, and I like the copper/bronze colour you have used as a highlight, much better than the old yellow stickers on Boss!

Yeah - cos I thought they looked like Boss'.:p

I had no idea who Hurricane was until I looked him up after your post. To me Hurricane's car mode looks predominantly white, while my version of Boss is predominantly pale blue in car mode. It may not show up well in the images.

As with most things I found several variations of colour design for Boss so I went for the one that I felt looked best.

I've thought about it but not much more than that.

I have seen someone do something interesting with Boss' bonnet gun/cannon, so am thinking of that at the moment.
