Fixing Transformers GO! Jinbu's Thighs
As awesome as Transformers GO! Jinbu is with his five-changer aspect (head, torso, leg, robot, jet), he's not perfect straight out of the box. ALL Jinbu's have a mis-assembly error, his thighs are swapped around and this can have the unfortunate side-effect of affecting his torso mode with some minor clearance issues. Thankfully, the fix is extremely easy!!
What you need:
- Jinbu figure
- screwdriver
Introduction:
Straight out of the box, Jinbu's thighs are like this, i.e. before pic:

Your aim? Get the "smoother" side facing the front, which allows the knee joint to have a slightly bigger range of motion. Basically, you're going to disassemble the lower legs, swap the thighs, and put it back together again. This is made a little bit more complicated due to the fact that his knee joints are ratchets. Behold! The after pic...

Instructions:
So... let's begin! For each leg, you will need to take out the screws as highlighted below. I suggest taking the middle screw last and make sure that you be careful getting the panel out because the spring inside the ratchet joint is strong and likes to bounce out. Good luck with the screws because on mine, they are unbelievably tight, I ended up defacing the head of one of them...

Make sure you know which leg is on which side (I suggest putting left leg pieces on your left and right leg pieces on your right), then swap the thigh pieces around.

Now the fun part! Putting it back together again. I suggest putting the middle screw first (i.e. the ratchet). A good way is to put the spring in first, then align the ratchet ridges against the outer leg, and then lining it up with the slot in the thigh piece. Once you're screwed this on (don't do it too tight or the knee joint will be too stiff!), the other two are a breeze.

Now your Jinbu can form the torso with ease, :)

Conclusion:
Congratulations! You now have awesome looking and very sturdy Go-Kenzan!!
