kup is referring to the rifle (photon missile launcher) that Jetfire is holding in robot mode (although he can also hold it in jet and Alternate mode (aka Gerwalk mode).

Sorry Gok, but that's wrong. I am refering to the clip like Gun holder, not the gun itself. Thanks anyway

I have one but not from the original Jetfire - its from a Bandai VF-1S (essentially what Jetfire is). I don't want cash however, what have you got to trade?

Oh right, I see. "Gun pod" actually refers to the rifle/missile launcher (because in Macross that weapon is called a GU-11 gun pod, hence the confusion :)).

A very hard to find yet insignificant piece, this is one is the bane of completists everywhere!

I don't have this piece, and couldn't care less!

I was suggesting to kup yesterday that he could replace it with a piece from a KO - but the suggestion from Fungal is essentially following the same logic. ;)

finally a happy ending

I am not over fuzzed about it. Just my completist nature acting up. Even if I do get it, I will likely put it in storage along with spare missiles and weapons since it looks awful in jet mode and useless in robot mode.

I cannot find any KOs by the way so this looks to be a long term find.
