From here to Alternity.
Seibertron is actually referring to that repainted Hot Rod as "Wild Rider"...
Something tells me the folks who forked out for Botcon Evil Hot Rod will be "Not Happy, Jan!"
whats an alternity? sorry to be blunt but i may have heard of it
Alternity looks like a cross between BINALTECH and the movie line. A new Japanese line at 1/32 scale with diecast shells (apparently). Prototype pics here.
Yep, the other one is supposidly a Chara Hobby 2008 exclusive Henkei Stuntron Wild Rider which costs 3000 Yen. If they lost the red face I would be more interested.
I wish they ditched the flames. A different face or masked face would also go a long way but aye... repaints, what can you do?
I guess if it is meant to resemble Stunticon Wildrider, it needs the red face. Not sure why takaratomy are doing a black Hot Rod though, as it steps on the toes of the Hasbro exclusives. The seeker jets I can understand because they are such major characters, but this is like someone at takaratomy like the BC black Rodimus and wanted to release it in Japan as well, using a different name.
The Alternity concept is new to me, and not sure what it ties in with, if anything.
Will this Henkei Black Rodimus be easy to get? I want one. Or two. :D Classics Wildrider all the way for me. Remove the tail finds and replace the stickers on the hood and you've got Wildrider.
Geez this is the 2nd punch in the face for the funpub people, I dont think this will cause the same kind of stink as Henkei Thundercracker, since the Henkei Wildrider is somewhat different to Shattered Glass Rodimus, but still it's pretty damn close.
It's too bad this repainted Hot Rod doesn't have a well-sculpted goatee...:)
