If you are after the first versions (without clear blue parts), ebay might be your only option.
If you think he'd be okay with the second versions (WITH clear blue parts), amazon still has both in stock (available to ship out of America) - Blades & Boulder.
Provided you click on the "Global eligible" link on the left hand column AFTER you do a search, and only buy items that say "ships and sold by Amazon" just under the price, you can shop for cheaper toys (especially Rescue Bots) and get very cheap shipping to Australia.
