I'm thinking a darker silver like gunmetal or maybe carbon fibre the bonnet.

Feel free to be comfortable with what you are hoping to achieve rather than what we may be going to expect like the Diaclone colours. The head was pretty nice so far so if you keep consistent with those colour scheme it may turn out wonderfult.
