I know that Galaxy Force is a significantly better regarded show than Cybertron in many respects. I don't know if the same can be said for Superlink and Energon, but if so, re-editing might not be so necessary as (better, more faithful) re-translation.
Quite true. Another problem is really that is has 20 episodes worth of story drawn out over 52. No amount of Japanese would save that.
Re-edited into three of four 'movies' and I'd probably research Energon. But I look at the box set and think I'll never spend the time rewatching the whole thing again.
Would the show still make sense without Kicker and Ironhide?
