Robot Mode
Very faithful to the G1 cartoon though they have given him a blue visor, which I think is actually quite a nice addition. Well proportioned, nice colours, very poseable, overall very good!

Vehicle Mode
Like all the Aerialbot Deluxe figures it’s a bit sucky with obvious arms at the sides and a chunky undercarriage. However the paint scheme is very good and vibrant and he is fairly compact like the G1 version.

Transformation
Same as CW Firefly, pretty easy and intuitive.
Overall
For those of you that were totally ticked off that the original Aerialbot line-up had been changed, well here is your chance to complete it they way you want. Personally I like the idea that the Aerialbot roster has been expanded from 5 to 7 (I don’t really care he got killed off in the current comics). The fact that this figure is hard to find as well as being a bit more expensive may put a lot of people off. Others may just be happy to have Tak/Tom's Slingshot - for me it's hard to tell which is better as each has little paint apps in both modes that I wish the other one had. Personally I’m glad I got both versions :)
Some comparison shots between Hasbro's Quickslinger and Tak/Tom's Slingshot...
