This is sad news. She is a big part of one of my favorite things.
Two main actors from Star Wars gone in the same year (Kenny Baker was the other one in August).

I was playing Star Wars Minis with my daughter earlier this evening; she was using Rebels and I was Imperials... I had the opportunity to kill Leia, and as the nearest target she was the only legal target for my Stormtroopers. I got her down to the last 10 Hit Points and I really was torn about whether to keep attacking her or not... then it was my daughter's bed time and we abandoned the game! :o
Also, when I woke up my daughter was already in the lounge room and she was playing around with my SWMs. She told me that the Rebels and Imperials had joined forces against a common enemy, but the enemy had killed Leia. :eek: I... haven't told her that Carrie Fisher has passed away. So either this has all been incredible coincidences or the will of the Force.
Her mum has passed on earlier today too :(
