New Beast Wars Series
Now before Verno goes and high fives a cloud, I think that until further more reliable sources come along that we should treat this as a rumour for now. But according to this article:
* Hasbro is collaborating with Netflix to create a new CG animated series of Beast Wars
* Marvel writer Jason Aaron is writing the script for this series
* Slated for late 2018 release
Not much else is known. The writer reckons that the story will stay in continuity with the original BW/BM series, but I personally doubt it and suspect that it'll be a reboot... because every bloody new Transformers thing is a reboot these days. :o But I'd be stoked if it were in continuity. :)
Still, just taking this as a rumour with a huge bag of salt for now.

Jason Aaron?
That is definitely exciting for me!

November 2018?
That and looking at the source website and the way it's written, Imma go with others online and say clickbait

I would be oveR the moon if this were to actually prove true
A new beast era series would be absolutely amazing
But given the fact Hasbro seems to care very little about beast wars. I have a hard time believing they'd actually create a brand new series for it. Especially one that is a continuation of the original. Now over 20 year old series

I want.. Need this in my life..

When you think about it, it makes sense.
:) low risk, accessible to everyone.
:) coincide the launch by making the original 3 seasons available on Netflix.
:) smaller seasons, cheaper to finance. Also 10 - 13 eps released in one go.
:) may not be reboot but a retcon and erase beast machines from the tf time line (but not from our hearts!)
:) everyone is doing a revival these days!
At the moment, I'm not to concerned if it's real or not, but the next tf series would be better on a global streaming service instead of cartoon network, the hub or fox 8

Sorry but this reads as click bait or fan-fic.
If there were actually talk/speculation, we'd see it hit news sites like Dark Horizons first, rather than an obscure site that "scoops" actual pop culture journalists.

I wonder if this is why there's been an over abundance of people
Asking for beast wars toys on those Facebook groups the last few days?

I agree with the scales of the skeptical.
It doesn't appear on any other noteworthy news page, just for starters.
It claims to carry on after Beast Machines, yet also says Scorponok and Terrorsaur are gonna be in it? Pft. Sure, death isn't ever anything for certain in the mythologies, but they're talking about two bots who died well before the end of BM, in the far distant past, and on another planet, and even by today's fandom they couldn't be labelled as the most popular of the BW cast.
I dunno, I think maybe with toyfair about to happen this is some click bait nonsense. I mean, they spread 11 character pictures out over 5 pages or something?
Not buying it at this point.
