Such items are more likely to be mistaken for a real toy by someone who doesn't know that an unauthorised replication was produced, particularly one like this one that was also done by Hasbro in desert colours.

Commenting/reviewing significantly oversized or bizarre-colour KOs is discouraged, but they are less likely to be mistaken as being the real thing, and get into circulation at places like collector fairs, conventions, ebay and gumtree by sellers who genuinely believe they are legit toys.

Admittedly, original mould "3rd party" toys also get mistaken by some less informed collectors as being legit toys once they've changed hands a couple of times, particularly by young kids or their parents at collector fairs, but at least with those, you can point them to resources like TFwiki or TFU.info and tell them to find that particular toy to prove it is legit - an oversized or reproduction toy will still show up on those sites because the images don't show size or the minute details that most replica toys have that are slightly different.
