What perchance is the official reason for the no ears? Or is it a club only exclusive piece of info for now?

It's in the comic that came with the toy so I'm not sure if I can divulge it publicly. Don't worry, you're not missing out on much... (it's seriously lame).

Yeah the story itself is decent but contained. Takes place in the Marvel G1 contunity, some 20-30 years later or something. However the explanation for Nightbeat's ears is very, very lame. They may as well not have explained it at all and I don't see why the actual head couldn't of had ears even if small ones.
