Hang on! That would mean if you bought 2 Animated toys at $40 a pop, they'd be selling them to you you under cost price! (see this post for more details) :p
I worked this out this morning (on lego mind you)... if you managed to buy enough to fill the $75 brackets, ie.: $75, $150, $225, you'd save just over 26%.

Construction Site + Harvester + Tractor = $230 - $60 = 26%
Transformers
Eg.:
3 Deluxes($90) = 22% discount / $23.33 each
5 Deluxes($150) = 26% discount / $22.00 each
Ah nice, I got the same newsletter in my email too. But I only need Blazing Lockdown and Activator Grimmy, do they have Universe Inferno yet? Is southland better stocked or chaddy?
