Difference on TakaraTomy Japan release of Leader Class Optimus Prime

The sternum is grey not red, but the neck is still red like Hasbro version...

Minimal difference. Still hoping for Takara Premium Series :)

The grey sternum does look better. One wouldn't notice it though unless you stand both toys side by side. Wonder why they didn't bother to turn the whole neck grey. The sternum is easy enough for us to paint grey ourselves, but it's a difference too minor for me to bother. :p

BAH! I was really hoping for a shiny truck grill....

I won't be shelling out for another prime unless they do some awesome chrome :D but yeah - that's for a later premium release by japan :D

I'll be holding back until I see the premium.

i like takara grey. Damn i think i'm going to have to get it.

Besides the grey sternum, another difference has been found. Apparently the smokestacks found on the Japanese release have a "more solid" gray colour compared to the Hasbro version's slightly clear feel.
