yes they'll work. i bought a Yearly ticket at the beginning of the year. in march, the yearly ticket spoilt and i was refunded with monthly. i got retrenched and moved to zone 1&2, hence these zone 1s are no longer useful to me.
[edit] i'm giving a discount and losing abit of $$ but as long as i can get rid of them and save abit of your cost...why not?
