Just wanted to reverse the decision about meets posted here needing to have a TFs element.
Obviously, if transfans come together for some sort of occasion, I'd be surprised if nothing TFs related is said or done at the meet. But we do need to be mindful that the Meets section is designed to get Transformers fans together for Transformers, either at the meet or in future meets. As such, it is best to only suggest or plan a meet if it is something that other fans here would be interested in - as such, including/centering it around a Transformers element would be that drawcard.
If a person proposes meets that have no Transformers element because this is their only avenue for socialising with others, and the meets do not draw much interest from others, it may be recommended to that person to only be involved in meets that others conceive.
We don't have a flood of meet proposals here, and if proposals fail we aren't likely to see repeated attempts - so there isn't much need to set up restrictive, preventative rules on the matter.
