Last year I found a new sport called LEET. The sport was invented in Helsinki but moved to california and spread to an extent through the colleges/uni's there.
The game is essentially a ball throwing game and each player ~4 a side, have a 'stick' [a hollow tube with a cap at one end and a fluted scoop at the other] and the ball is a heavyish rubber ball.
I have a stick and ball set and let me tell you taht this sport/game seems that it would be cool, it could be played anywhere but a basketball court would be quite good. The ball can be thrown stupidly hard and fast, but also allows for some artistic gymnastics.
