Actually, it helped me just a short while ago tonight to upgrade the bios on the board to the latest version so that my new cpu was fully supported. Before it was just running at 1.6ghz, now it's at full speed @ 3.2ghz and the power saving stuff is fully working now too. :)
Plus it was just still in the case, I just leave it. And I'm an old school guy with a mountain of stuff still on floppy disk.
And that's one thing I love about this board, it has the option in the bios for all floppy types, other boards typically just have the 3.5" 1.44mb option, this one has both 3.5 and 5.25" drive options with both high and low densities. :)
Well I got my Rudd money last Wednesday, and with some extra savings I went along and picked up all this:

Core 2 Duo E8500 (3.16GHz)
Asus P5Q3 mobo
WD 1TB HDD
Kingston 6GB RAM
Gigabyte NVidia GTX260 core 216 Graphics card (yum - came with Farcry 2 for free :))
Antec Nine Hundred Two Case
Antec Earthwatts 750W PSU
2 SONY DVD drives
Sony internal card reader
Logitech MX550 Revolution Keyboard/Mouse Combo(Sitting above the antec box, but cut out of pic)
Other
Sanyo 32" LCDTV for my monitor (got it in March)
Logitech X530 5.1 Speakers (from ages ago)
So i built it myself - pretty happy with my work, my cable management was quite neat etc. had problems with it as the pc would randomly freeze or reboot with more than one stick of ram plugged in - turns out the motherboard wasnt delivering anough voltage to the ram, so i manually set the voltage in the BIOS and voila, all good
So this a pic of my setup:

George
What?! No floppy drive?!??!?!?!
its invisible :D
but yeah, id prefer a card reader over a floppy drive, and only the top three drive bays were 100% free - the bottom six bays (yeah this case has 9 drive bays ;)) are covered by intake cooling fans, and id rather keep them in
i have the floppy drive from my old pc, so if i REALLY need to (or my card reader dies) i can plug it in

lots o' Kenner Aliens figs! a couple Kenner T2 figs MOSC and one disappointingly empty Powerloader box, stupid vague auction listings...
THANKS TO THE GRIFF FOR BIDDING, COLLECTING, PACKING AND POSTING THESE SUCKERS TO ME!
I am now a happy owner of a TMNT re-issue Raphael.
It has begun, for now I have no choice but to collect all of them...
