More Cyberverse deluxes, yay!!! :)
People are claiming (or assuming) two re-uses of the Kingdom BW Megatron T-rex mould (the Beast Machines T-Wrecks, and a Crossover with Jurassic Park), and if either of those are true, the new head may have leaked out on one of the Megatron toys found in America.
The Megatron head has pursed lips, while this alternate head has an open snarled mouth showing teeth.
If this alternate head is for a future redeco of Megatron, it is possible that there will be more out there in the wild, but probably not too many, so could end up being a very rare variant.
Often when there are multiple versions planned for a new mould, the toolings (the metal plates that has the plastic injected into it to create the parts for the toys) are built to produce all of the alternative future parts (like different heads, weapons, roof-lights, etc), but sections of the toolings are blocked off to only produce the parts that are needed for the current version being manufactured. However, sometimes the alternative parts still end up being made and get mixed up with the regular parts, and if it is something like a head that is almost identical, it might not be noticed by the people there putting the toys together.

This could be a fun game... guess the toy from its sprue of parts. :p
Sounds like a possible Toy-based version?Quote:

I recognise the parts but not sure of which use of the toy - a BotCon one?
Is that a botcon Primal Prime or Apex using the Cybertron Optimus Primal mold from the 2000's it's got that surfboard that the cyber planet key plugs into
I think it's Primal Prime. Only one, that I can tell, that has a blue missile.
You know the character cards in Kingdom toys? I though that they?d only be cards of Wave 1 chars packed in wave 1. But I just got one of ?Autobot Ark?. So that seems pretty likely that there is a toy coming
Wave 1 has Blackarachnia, Dinobot, Ark and Optimus Prime.
Another Kingdom variant has been found, which could be from an upcoming redeco toy - the swords for Voyager Optimus Primal are usually silver painted, but one person in America has found white painted swords with their toy. It's only a minor thing, but we'll see if the rumoured redeco has white painted swords.
Another sample of an unreleased toy has been obtained by one of those youtubers who has been showing off leaked toys... this one is being called Rusticon, but I don't know if that is its actual product name.
It looks like a toy that was lost out in the back yard and dug up years later, like in Toy Story... and even though that is probably the point of a "rusted bot" toy, it might not look too appealing on the shelf to regular shoppers if it shows up at regular retail.
(there have been suggestions that it is part of the 3rd wave of Netflix toys... which has a limited target, and a limited release)
Part of a product listing has been leaked to a number of fansites, which could be true... but could also be made up, as most of it just lists assortment codes that are old and well known, along with a small number of items that I think have already been leaked somewhere.

Another rumour being claimed is that there could be some reissue Transmetal Beast Wars toys (from back 1998).
This one feels like a bit of a stretch to me. Even though there have been a small number of reissues of 1980s toys, I don't think the toys of the late 1990s (Beast Era) have been used by Hasbro since the early 2000s of Armada and Universe. (TakaraTomy have recently reissued 2000 Beast Machines Air Attack Primal and 1999 Big Convoy)
The most recent use by Hasbro of a toy from close to that era (that I can think of) is the 2000 RID Megatron toy used for BotCon 2016 as Transmetal Megatron.
Going back further...
2014 - FunPub was able to use the Japanese 1998 BWII Dirgegun toy for Thrustinator. (the same year as Transmetals from Hasbro... but 7 years ago)
2013 - FunPub used the Japanese 1999 BWNeo Big Convoy toy for Ultra Mammoth)
2005 - BotCon used the 1998 Fuzor Buzzclaw mould... which I think could be the last time Hasbro used a "Beast Wars" mould. It was only 7 years after it was a regular retail toy by Hasbro, so could have been easier to track down... but I get the feeling that the Hasbro Beast Wars years of moulds (1996 to 1999) are off-limits, and remind me if I'm missing something, but in the last 16 years, that one Fuzor mould was the only Hasbro Beast Wars toy re-used by Hasbro, which to me seems a little unusual (if true).
One hand I can see Hasbro wanting to reissue them given how hard they are pivoting from G1 to BW. On the other hand, I think they would rather just make new moulds to sell of the TM characters allowing for a more mass audience to sell to.
Perhaps these reissues are instead of them doing CHUG Transmetals. I don't think any TM stuff has leaked for Kingdom.
The last time we saw a large number of Beast Wars toys reissued was for Armada and Universe in 2004-2005. I had assumed that the toolings had degraded since that point, but it may simply be that Hasbro decided to let them rest for a bit and had other priorities. Megatron, Cheetor, Airrazor, Rhinox, and Terrorsaur were all (slightly) retooled for their Armada releases, but I don't imagine that would have involved altering the original toolings.
Terrorsaur and Triceradon were repainted into Strafe and Slug for the Walmart Age of Extinction line.
Ah yes, those 6 toys that came with parts of Transmutate, from 2006, and the Japanese ones in 2007 as BW started there a year later.
I had a look through the tfu.info site, and since those reissue toys in 2006-2007, only the Terrorsaur mould has been used (in 2014) from the pre-Transmetal moulds (1996 & 1997).
Some more evidence of SS86 Wreck-gar and Sweeps has been posted on TFW. Given the SS line is about screen accuracy, I'm really not sure how you would differentiate a Sweep from Scourge.

MPM Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime image via Planet Iacon's Facebook page.
I recently got the ThreeZero versions of both Prime and Bumblebee, which look magnificent together. Might get this to keep in alt mode with my MPM 7 Bumblebee which at the moment is the odd one out in my collection.
I wonder if they made a new fig, or are just US releasing the Japanese Legendary Optimus Prime
Product listings that may be true...
Studio Series Voyager Thrust (Bumblebee Movie) - when they revealed Starscream, multiple redecos were expected... so this could be true.
Studio Series Voyager Wreckgar & Sweep (1986 movie) - The Sweep would be an easy minor redeco... but saying that, could be a rather lazy release so quickly after Scourge, especially if they are screen accurate, which aren't significantly different to Scourge.
We've heard from Hasbro that the Buzzworthy Bumblebee "line" will have more products released later in the year, and a possible product has been alleged to have been found listed somewhere. If this is item is true, it shows that this new packaging label will continue to be a mix-n-match of toys from other Transformers toylines, as this one notes "Evergreen", which is a term used for generic versions of the more iconic characters, which pop up in toylines like Authentics and Cyber Series.
Images of the purple Kingdom Paleotrex toy that first surfaced a few weeks ago... which I'm still not sure what it is for, if it is legit. It has been speculated that this could be a Netflix toy.
So it would seem my guess was accurate.
At the beginning of the month there was this rumour...
Today someone in America has found some new Beast Wars listings on the Walmart system, which could be the rumour above about Transmetal re-issues... or maybe it is like the Retro Headmasters, in that they are recent (Kingdom) toys released in 1990s Beast Wars packaging?
Based on the prices that are being listed, it's difficult to expect it to be the Kingdom toys option, because $50 is the Leader price point in America, and Kingdom Optimus Primal was only a Voyager (which is $30 in America).Quote:
TRA GEN BW Vintage Optimus Primal

TRA GEN BW Vintage Trex Megatron
EAN: 5010993867103

TRA GEN BW Vintage Rattrap
EAN: 5010993867141
TRA GEN BW Vintage Cheetor
EAN: 5010993866953
Product Number: F1620
Megatron and Optimus Primal are listed for $49.97, Cheetor for $22.97, and no price for Rattrap. No images yet but hopefully we will get more information soon.
And if they are all reissues, Cheetor being at the current Deluxe price would also mean the $50 figures would need to be Leader class size toys (which would be the old Ultra class from Beast Wars), and that would be the first non-Transmetal toys from 1996.
The thing that is throwing me (and others) is the "vintage" in the product names, as past reissues didn't have "vintage" in those product names, while the Retro Headmasters had "Retro" in their product names.
I guess time will tell, on how wrong I am on those guesses.
TFW2005 has the Kingdom Commander Class Rodimus Prime first looks, and appears to be from a retailer/distributor listing so is quite low-res. Disturbingly though it doesn?t show any cab, and makes him look like just an upscale Hot Rod with a sword.
The text in the bottom of the picture says it changes from a robot into a Trailer truck. There has to be more(the trailer) hiding somewhere. I wonder if they've taken a few cues from the original plan of Rodimus, like when the G1 toy was thought to be a lot larger (IIRC). Like the G1 never had a mode where it would've worked without the trailer, whereas this one does. Much like MP Rodimus Prime.
Its gonna hve to be a pretty specatular trailer though to make that commander level
Hope he’s not comically sized and towers over the others. POTP Rodimus (which I like) is already quite big and he’s only a leader with most of his budget dedicated towards integrating Hot Rod.
I find the boxy car mode here really hilarious, if they just did that with no trailer, it would be hilarious.
Most likely the robot mode will be as tall as the unseen Voyager Galvatron. So probably somewhere between Scourge and Cyclonus and a good two heads taller than Hot Rod.
A black redeco of Siege Ironhide has shown up, which people are claiming to be "Quintesson Guard" from the Netflix cartoon, and if it is a legit toy, would probably be in the next wave of Netflix toys.
Does seem to have a little green Quintesson logo. Probably will come out with the Sparkless Barricade that's also been doing the rounds.
When I read black redeco I really wanted it to more Diaclone like.

Running out of inspiration for names this wave
People are claiming that this image has part of Kingdom Galvatron and T-Wrecks in it... which I think have both been rumoured at some stage.
And a full body shot has been circulating this morning https://twitter.com/halleyhanna/stat...588121094?s=21
Looks great, apart from the battle damage
